In 2016 we were in R210 and we did not hear noise. We are now booked in D329 for a 49-day cruise. If anyone has stayed in that cabin, was in quiet or were there any issues I should be concerned about? I would love to hear about it.

That's a loaded question.
What do you like to do on your cruises? Do you want to be closer to the retreat pool and buffet? Pick Marina deck.
Do you want to be closer to the Piazza? Pick Dolphin.
You can't smoke in Crooners
When picking your cabin it all depends what you want to be closer to while cruising.
We were on Marina on our Royal cruise, but I didn't like being so high up. The sound of the ocean wasn't as loud a it is on a lower deck, which seems obvious, but it was out first time so high up. We spent a lot of time at the Retreat pool, and it was a short walk, but we all agreed that we'd prefer to be closer to MDR, Crooners, and the Bellini bar, but that's just us.
We prefer a cabin in a quiet location and a non-obstructed view from our balcony. In the past we have had cabins on the Baja, Caribe and Riviera decks.

We want to select a cabin on Royal Princess but would like some advice.
A511 - we are only 2 people. Since it can accommodate 4 people, where is the upper bed located?
M127 - will we hear the sound from Movies under the stars?
D329 - will we hear the music from the Crooners Bar? Can people smoke there?
Thanks.

We also book the Princess shore excursions. A few times, we did not make it on time back to the ship but Princess waited for us as the excursion was made through them. We were an hour late in Panama. We prefer to enjoy our excursions and not be afraid and stressed of missing the ship.

Our first cruise was on the Song of Norway, Royal Caribbean in January 1997. We will never forget it. We got married on our first cruise. We are booked on the Royal Princess for a 49-day cruise and it will be our 18th cruise. So many amazing memories and many more to come. What a journey!

We booked the 49-day South America cruise and our disembarking port is Los Angeles on March 23, 2019. We would like to stay several days to visit LA, go to Warner Brothers, etc. Any suggestions for hotels and in which area to stay?

Some of these ports cannot really handle the number of passengers on the Royal, especially the Falkland Islands.
Many passengers will be disappointed when shore excursions (both Princess and independent) will be totally booked and thus unavailable to them.
Do you have any idea as to when we can book excursions? Any suggestions for private excursions? Thanks.

We have never been on HAL. We are thinking of booking a Vista Suite. Any cabins we should book or avoid to ensure we have a quiet cabin? Port or Starboard side? We are non smokers so we want to avoid a cabin under a smoking area. We do not want the tenders in the vicinity of our balcony, if possible. Any feedback about this ship? Looking forward to hear from others who have been on this ship. The itinerary is from San Diego and going to Central America. Looks extremely interesting.

We are sailing on the Regal Princess on December 4th. We booked a mini-suite for the first time. Any feedback on R210 would be appreciated, especially regarding the noise level from upper decks. Thanks.

We just booked our cruise for December 4, 2016. Would anyone have photos of cabin R733? If anyone has ever been in that cabin, how did you like it? Any info would be appreciated. We are looking forward to sailing on the Regal.
