The van took us to the airport at 12:30 and we were there no more than 20 minutes later. Once you check-in and get through security, it's only about a 5 to 10 minute slow walk to any gate. It's not a large airport. Don't worry about getting to the airport on time. Trust your sightseeing driver. They'll get you there in plenty of time.

First, thank you for a GREAT review! Did you book the airport return through Celebrity or did you use a private company? If the latter which one and would you recommend them?

Has anyone been in Summit 9094 or 9100? The website says, "Stateroom 9094 and 9100 have smaller verandas that are semi-private." What does that mean?

I had purchased 2 excursions earlier for our cruise in Dec. When I called last night and spoke to the Captains Club dept they cancelled our existing reservations and rebooked them with the 10% discount. A savings of $42.00. I did notice that the offer says it is for Holiday sailings, but our cruise is preholiday. A nice perk though.

Where did you see the "offer"? I didn't notice anything aside from the price being less than I expected.

I just pre-booked a celebrity excursion for our upcoming cruise on the Summit. The final price I was charged was 10% less than what was shown on the first page. Is this a normal discount for pre-booking? Or did I luck out with all the crazy website stuff going on?

Really, with the drinks package promo, they were being a lot more restrictive and both people in the cabin had to have it or none at all.:D

I was able to upgrade pre-cruise for only one of the people in a cabin, by calling: Cruise Enhancement Department at: 1-800-722-5941. I was able to upgrade both my boyfriend and me in our cabin, and just my step-father (and not my mother) in their cabin. This was a couple of weeks ago.

Hi, I have also attended a Chef's Dinner on Summit and it was held

in the galley as well. If memory serves I think there were about 10

of us.

You need to ask about it as I agree with Sue in the previous post....

it is not advertised very much.

I also went to another dinner on Sihlouette which was held in Tuscan

and that one? I believe we had about a dozen people.

 

If it is something you are interested in doing? Find either, The

Cellarmaster or one of the Maitr'ds of one of the Specialty Restaurants

and they should be able to help you.
