I'm booked on a cave tubing tour in Belize next week and was so excited and not even remotely concerned about snakes UNTIL a friend of mine mentioned them. I was bitten by obviously a non-poisonous snake as a child and am DEATHLY afraid of snakes and now my excitement has turned to fear. HOWEVER, because my husband is so excited about doing this, I'm going to try to resign myself to the fact that we WILL be in the jungle and it would not be unreasonable to see a snake, and put my fears aside and try my best to enjoy this adventure. But I'm scared! :eek:
