I am on the Apr 29 cruise from Vancouver on the Star Princess. How can I find out how busy the port will be that day (ie:how many ships will be in port)

Does the star princess have on demand tv ?

What hikes would you recommend in Juneau, Sitka and Ketchikan ? (for views/scenery)

We love to hike and are looking for something not too far from town but would be willing to take a taxi or bus if needed (or even a hiking tour)

We will be in Juneau 6-5pm

Sitka 9am-7pm and Ketchikan 930am-5:45pm in May

We will be on the Star Princess Apr 29th Hawaii and May 14 Alaska Cruise. Does anyone know what kind of Zumba schedule they have on either cruise; 1 or 2 times/day.

Do they offer any other free exercise classes on those particular cruises? A few years ago they were offering occasional kickboxing-type classes on some of their Caribe-cruises.

We are going on the Apr 29th Star Princess cruise. I received my princess entertainment email from the Cruise Director (Neil Roberts) a few days ago.

He mentioned 2 entertainers on the 29th sailing:

''These Guys'' (Motown/Pop)

and Alex Ramon (Magician)

Is there a site where I can see entertainment scheduled on an upcoming Princess cruise?

Thanks Everyone. When I put in ''Cruise Passengers-Lahaina'' May 8th it says

''Sorry, no cars were found for the selected location and dates/times. Please modify your search and try again.''

BUT I do see a list of vehicles after that comment. I just realized the vehicles listed have a JHM location code so I assume its giving me the car rental availability at the airport. I might just call the 1-800 #

We have changed our mind several times about what to do in Hilo (its hard being the middle man when travelling with several people) My husband/dad are doing a heli-tour and then we are driving to the park and should have 3 hrs to enjoy the sites there. Next time I plan to get my hike in! :)

How long does it take to drive Crater Rim Drive once we enter the Volcano National Park....and how long if we add a walk through the Lave Tubes?

We have approximately 2.5-3 hrs to enjoy the park and hope to make the best of every minute Any advice would be appreciated !

For cruisers that have rented vehicles in port (Hilo/Honolulu/Nawilili/Lahaina)

Is it worth taking a cab to the rental office to *hopefully* get there before the shuttle bus arrives with other passengers.

Im not sure how busy the ports will be during our trip and the last thing we want to do is spend the first few hours in each port waiting in line.

Is there a website where I can see how many cruise ships are in port on the same day that we are in the above mentioned ports? That may be handy info to have!

Im having a really hard time finding a car rental in Lahaina for May 8 (Sta Princess)

There is no availability @ http://discounthawaiicarrental.com and from what I have read, rentals are only available at the airport?

Where does the ship dock in Lahaina. Does anyone have any suggestions or info on car rental agencies I can check? Thanks!

I am thinking about doing the ''Kilauea Volcano Bike Adventure'' tour with Princess Cruises in May.

Has anyone done this tour and if so, what did they think of it?

I want to spend as much time as possible at the park while I am there, other tours (princess and non-princess) seem to stop there for a very short time. The other tour Im considering is the ''Crater Hike & Hilo Waterfalls'' (with Princess) Any recommendations on either?

I will be arriving in Honolulu via Princess Cruises and would like to go to: Diamond Head, Hanauma Bay, Koko Crater & see the Halona Blowhole.

From what I have read, parking can be a very difficult at all these locations so Im looking for another mode of transportation. Any suggestions? :)

We will be in Hawaii in April & we would prefer to do choose a tour when we get off the ship (''non-princess'' to save a lot of money since there is 6 of us)

When we get off the ship in each port, will there be tour operators offering tours of the island highlights? (Its our first time in Hawaii so Im not sure how it compares to tour operators in the Caribbean ports)

For those who have recently sailed on the Star Princess, who is the Entertainment (& Deputy) Director?

We will be departing Southampton Sept 6th on Royal Princess:). We would like an informative-tour-type shuttle to Southampton from our hotel (not sure where we are staying yet) since we won't have much time to explore prior to embarkation (only 1.5 days in London)

I want to confirm that my best options for this type of service is either:

1. National Express Coach Services (requires me to take a cab to Victoria Bus Station in London and then a taxi to the pier.

2. Shared Shuttle direct from hotel to pier.

Am I correct and is there a major difference in price? Thanks!
