We will be on the Enchantment in a little over a week.  In the past we never needed to check to see if we had any texts, so it wasn't an issue.  Now due to business contacts we may be receiving texts and will need to check them.  Also would like to check email.  That's it, no streaming or surfing the web or social media.  This will just be on one device.  I'm seeing a VOOM package for $12.99 per day and it says share pictures and surf the web, then another package that is $14.99 per day that says video chat, texting and e-mail.  Thoughts on which one I should choose?

West Indian Pumpkin Soup

Serves 100 (so you might have to convert it to less)

3 lbs Onions, quartered

2 lbs Leeks

2 oz Garlic Cloves

7 lbs Pumpkin Puree

3 1/2 gallons Chicken Stock

2 Quarts Half-and-Half

1 Quart Heavy Cream

Salt & Pepper to Taste

Heat oven to 300*f. Place onions, leeks, and garlic in shallow roasting pan; drizzle with olive oiil. Bake at 300*f for 30 minutes. Puree Vegetables.

Roast pumpkin puree @ 300*f. for 20-25 minutes. In Large stockpot, combine pumpkin puree, pureed vegetables and chicken stock; bring to a boil. Simmer 1 Hour.

Add half-and-half and cream; simmer 5 minutes. Season with salt and Pepper.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm having a hard time converting this to a reasonable amount. Say to serve 5 or 10.

Has anyone reduced this?

This has been our favorite cruise to date. Isla Roatan is by far my favorite port of all time. The island is absolutely gorgeous. We walked for hours, stopping into local bars and shops (not the Carnival recommended shops) and watching the school children prepare for the independence day parade. I would have loved several more hours in this port.

 

I have been wondering if this was a port to just walk around and enjoy or if other than excursions there was much to do. I don't know anyone personally who has ever been to Isla Roatan so any info you can provide would be great.

I'm with you. I would be there in a heartbeat. My husband doesn't have any siblings, maybe you could adopt him as your new brother-in-law.

I have a question about the casino on the Legend, well actually my husband has a question. Do anyone know if there is a Texas Hold Em table and if so do you play against the dealer or other passengers?
