Hi - I saw one person mentioned that suite guests are able to have breakfast in Aqualina. Can others confirm that is the case, and if it is available on all ships? I don’t see it mentioned anywhere on the Azamara web-site. Thank you.

I can't get past the email log in because Azamara responds that they do not recognize email which has always worked in the past.
I was getting the same message. I ended up creating a new account using the same e-mail address. My upcoming cruise on April 15th finally showed up in my upcoming cruise section a few days ago so it must have been linked to that email address. -
Does anyone know if the bud light is in 12 oz cans or glass bottles?

We board the Nieuw Amsterdam today. Sail away is scheduled for 3:00 according to the itinerary.

Thank you so much for this review, and all the pictures. One more question - are there hair dryers in the room? If so, are they the ones where you have to continuously hold a button down to keep them on.

Can you do me a huge favor and find out the size of the bud lights - is it the 16oz Aluminum bottle, 16oz Aluminum can, or 12 oz bottle. Need to figure out what Koozies to bring. Thank you.

I've only seen 12oz bottles.
What ship? And when?
We were on the Nieuw Amsterdam in November and they were 16 oz. The bar menu on the Navigator App for our upcoming cruise shows 16 oz.

(Jupiter) Captain stopped by at the table next to ours at dinner. Said he was 95% sure (not a quote) we'd be able to dock and go ashore in Seydisfjordur tomorrow. The authorities said our protocol was excellent (again paraphrasing).
I talked to the Captain in the stairwell and he repeated that he was very hopeful that we would be able to go ashore tomorrow.

Captain just announced preliminary positive test on Jupiter.

Onboard Jupiter... our hallway is under quarantine. No other info yet.
Which floor?

Currently on Jupiter in Akureyri. Got here at 8:00 and 2 hours later we are all still stuck on ship. It sounds like the local police don’t want us getting off even though we were precleared by Icelandic government.

We are on the July 13th Jupiter cruise and just received the letter that the ones on the current cruise received stating that "we expect you will be free to disembark the ship and explore on your own" but with the same caveat that "the situation is fluid and may change on short notice".

Has anyone who has landed in Reykjavik flown first, business or saga class? Do you know if there is a "fast track" lane at passport control? Thank you.

After being on hold for 30 minutes, finally got through to an agent who says she sees a $19,705.92 refund to be processed to my checking account. So, from the e-mail, they are saying that I need to pay an additional $20k that will get refunded to me in 2 weeks if I can't have my bank stop the charges on Monday. But I also need to figure out what charges to stop and what ones to let get processed. I am back on hold while she tries to figure that out, and figure out what has actually been charged to begin with. This is all so ridiculous. Why aren't they contacting the bank to stop these charges? More time I will have to spend trying to get this all straightened out.
Edited to add: after another 10 minutes on hold, she came back to say she could not give me any information as I am working though a travel agent and only they can call.

I also received the same letter. I spent over 2 hours trying to book shore excursions for the July 13th cruise. What is worrying me is the multiple “payment failed” messages I received while trying to pay via ACH. They are basically saying that the money will be taken out of my account and I will get a refund in a couple weeks if I can’t get my bank to stop the duplicate payments. I probably don’t even have enough money in that account if they process all the “extra” payments. The charges don’t show as pending in my checking account yet. I had prepaid gratuities on Thursday which just showed as pending yesterday. I also tried to use my credit card to pay for the shore excursions a couple times and received the payment failed notice and sure enough I have 2 pending credit card charges. I was also helping my parents book as well, and they are going to have just as many failed ach payments. This whole experience has been so frustrating.

We were on the cancelled cruise. So disappointing but we did enjoy our 2 nights on board and are now at the Lago Mar beach resort in Fort Lauderdale. There seems to be quite a few people here from the cruise. The full refund and 100% future cruise credit and zeroed out ship board accounts was unexpected and very nice of HAL. People definitely had fun with the free bar last night.

MaisonRose - thank you for offering to check the cabanas. I've seen older pictures where there was a couch and a high side table, with 2 loungers outside the cabana. We were recently on the Nieuw Amsterdam and the Retreat cabanas had the 2 loungers in the cabana with a table and 2 chairs. I was wondering if the cabana is still the same as it was or more like the Nieuw Amsterdam. Thank you!! Would you recommend the Oosterdam?
-
Thank you for taking the time to fill us in on the updates. I do have one question - do you know if the Retreat Cabanas were updated at all? Thank you. Enjoy your time in Lisbon.

Thank you for the Pictures and Periscopes. My brother and family are on the cruise and I just saw my nephew and niece in your boardwalk periscope. Have a wonderful cruise.

We recently returned from a cruise to Cuba on the Norwegian Sky. We had no problem doing a private tour. Cuba is an amazingplace and we are so glad we went.
We used FerTours for the 2 dayswe were there and they were excellent. Iwould highly recommend them. I exchanged e-mails with Fernando prior tothe cruise to determine the best tours to fit our wishes. We enjoyed both ourtours immensely. The first day we took the Day tour to Vinales where we saw thebeautiful countryside, caves and tobacco plantation. What a wonderful day. The second day we took the Shipwrecked tourof Havana which consisted of an hour tour in an old classic convertible and a 3hour walking tour. Another fantasticday. The highlight of our 2 days in Cubawas our tour guide Angelo. He was an amazing tour guide. We truly got to see and experienceCuba. Hope to return someday.

Thanks for all this great information. I know it includes nonalcoholic cocktails. Any chance that it includes nonalcoholic beer?
