  1. I'm interested in solo cruise. I love to cruise, and my husband passed away. I don't know how well I will handle it but I don't want to pay for two people when it's just me. If anyone has any information, it would be greatly appreciated. We usually went celebrity, princess, and R.C.  Please inform me of what kind of prices are involved and if any special sales are going on. Thanks, Lyn

All DRs have the same menu. Cielo is aft on deck 6 and more difficult to get to as the only access is via the aft elevators or stairs from deck 7 or above. The other two are mid ship.

    Thanks!

  3. We just booked the Sky Princess. Hoping to get some advice on the dining rooms. I'm looking to book our times for the main dining venues. Cielo, Soleil and Estrella Dining rooms. Are the menus and theme the same in each? Anyone like one better?   Thanks! Lyn and Bill

  4. We leave Tuesday for the Silhouette. We purchased the Abbott home testing kit plus we have an appointment Sunday at CVS at 11am. Someone told us if we board after 11 our test are over the 2 days(48 hours). We thought it just was 2 days period, so If we take a home test at 9am Sunday it counts all day Tuesday. Any advice is very much appreciated! Bill and Lyn

    Hi,

We were in the same situation, with a 01/12 Reflection departure.  I submitted our 1st request on 12/04, received confirmation of receipt of request, but never received confirmation of shareholder credit award.

I called this number, 954 628-9325, yesterday and spoke to a lovely lady named Doris who confirmed that the shareholder benefit was added to our onboard account on Tuesday, the 28th.

    Give it a try.

We called that number and they applied it. Thanks so much!

  6. Hoping a shareholder can advise us on this situation. I emailed shareholderbenefit@rccl.com a month ago with credit request form. We leave in a few days and have not heard back at all. I've called the customer service number for Royal Carribean Group and the message says box full. Do I need to deal with this now or will they add the $100 OBC when we get onboard? Thanks!

You can take them on the plane.  I took 5 kits with me in my carryon backpack to Seattle because I only needed one and was going to let whoever needed a test at the port buy the rest if they were interested.   No one showed up not tested though. If you are boarding the ship on the 5th, you will need to take the test on the 3rd or 4th.

    Thanks so much!

Don’t order them too soon.  The ones they are sending out now expire mid December or before, even with the extension.

The ones we received last week expired in September, and the extension made them good only till mid December.

We will be flying to Florida Nov 3rd. In Disney from 11-3 to 11-5 and then to Port Canaveral on 11-5. I was going to order them today. I'm wondering if I can take the kits on the plane and then I guess we do the test from Disney? so confused! Thanks!

In the Old World (Pre-Covid), we always got off anyway - as they usually put on a free shuttle to the mall for a couple hours for pax who were continuing on the next leg of the cruise.  They also gave us "In Transit" cards so you did not have to wait in line to check in again or wait in the lounge to board.  Once the ship was empty and everyone accounted for, you could just head right back on the ship.

Don't know if things have changed.

    Don

Can’t wait to get back cruising and hoping things eventually get somewhat close to normal.

  10. Thanks for responding. If 1500 or so  people are doing the same  and the other 1500 are totally disembarking that sounds like a long process. We did a back to back with Celebrity but there were only 52 people. We walked into the terminal, showed our passport and right back on total time was about 20 minutes. I’m hoping it’s similar and not waiting in the terminal.

This cruise is listed as a 14 night cruise(3-12-23 to 3-26-23) starts in Fort Lauderdale and a week later has Fort Lauderdale again to apparently pick up passengers for the 3-19 to 4-2 cruise. Do they make you get off and back on like a back to back? We appreciate any info.  Thanks!

yes...it is treated just like a back to back....and you will get instructions in your cabin a couple of days before the mid-cruise point on what you need to do.

If you selected traditional dining you will be assigned to a dining room.    You will be able to visit other ones on a space available basis.

All of the restaurant menus are the same except each venue has about 1/2 dozen specialty items representative of the theme of the venue (the same every night).

    Thanks!

If you have a fixed seating (Early/Late), you will be assigned one of the MDRs, but can try the others from day to day, according to demand. If you have Select, you can choose freely between all four MDRs every day, BUT can still make fixed-time reservations for some or all days in the desired MDR.

    Thanks!

I doubt very much the passenger being evaluated is ‘OK’, but understand you mean will recover. At sea evaluations are tricky and are done only when absolutely required.

Hoping the passenger is ok after medical treatment
