Yes please!  Booked on Jewel 3/26 & anxious for any information as ship returns from ‘quarantine.’  Thank you for any information you can provide and your opinions.

Question on the COVID test kits…. Ordered in Nov 2021 from Optum using Carnival link. That cruise was canx due to mechanical issues. I’m assuming we can use those tests for RCCL.  They appear to be the same tests & are within the ‘extended expiry dates’ authorized by FDA/CDC.  Hoping someone knows for sure before I dig into the research to confirm. Thanks!

Loved the itineraries...  booked on Jan 2, 2022 flight. Loved visiting Barbados on cruise, excited to depart from there.  But jeez, flight times are a bummer coming home to Michigan. Hoping those of you cruise in December & post reviews/recommendations. 😉

I've sailed this itinerary twice in the last 4 years, first time on Valor (loved this ship) and then on Conquest. Initially I booked for the islands, not really considering the ship. Neither of those two had the 2.0 refurbs yet.

When I started researching for next spring, I was sad to see the Fascination is now the only Carnival ship departing from San Juan. Looking forward to seeing reviews from more recent cruises before booking spring break.

This itinerary is very port intensive - but that is why I booked it last March. We had such a great time, that when it was time to start planning for Spring 2014 I didn't really consider any other carnival itineraries - just did a mock booking and then called my PVP - well, he called me. The day after I did the mock booking. ;)

We were in a suite in the forward of the ship last year and the vibration from the thrusters woke us up each morning between 7 & 8. We didn't mind too much as we wanted to be up and off laying on a beach by 10am. Due to being up so early - we were in the suite by 11 or 12 each night.

I would recommend a day or two in San Juan post cruise to relax before returning to the real world if you can. We rested on Sunday and flew home Monday last year (also I found significantly cheaper airfare!)

For our upcoming Southern Caribbean cruise to St. Thomas, Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, and St. Maarten... we have decided to stay on the ship in St. Kitts. For anyone that has been on this cruise, have we made the right decision? Which was your least favorite port?

We loved St. Kitts on this same itinerary last year. This year, we will probably stay on the Valor at St. Lucia.... The view of the Caribbean Sea & Atlantic Ocean are beautiful on St.Kitts!
