We are booked for the April 2 transatlantic from Lisbon. There were tons of cabins 2 weeks ago, but now most categories of balcony and above have gone to “guarantee” only. I’m thinking odds are slim now for an upgrade to balcony, or club balcony…

I just got all excited lol…O got an email that said “Your upgrade bid has been successfully ……modified” lol. I thought meant I’d got my bid, but it doesn’t look like it. But I didn’t modify my bid, and it is showing the same as I entered it?? Oh well, back to checking my emails and cabin number every hour!

Enjoy your balcony 😁
I think sooner, but keep an eye on price. At 29 days they could lower it and you might be able to just buy it.
I like the way you think lol, but I don’t think it is ever that easy. I put in low bids for both, so it might take a miracle, but here is hoping!

Just put an upgrade in for balcony or club balcony from our Oceanview, for the April 2 transatlantic from Lisbon. We are 44 days out, and there looks to be about 200 empty cabins, so thinking we might hear sooner rather than later. Any thoughts?

Here's the updated bar list with beer, liquor, cordials, wines by the glass, and other drinkables. Please be aware that this is a booklet that was taken apart and scanned. It's printed on both sides, so what you see here in the PDF will be a bit out of order compared to the paper book you would hold in your hands. I ran OCR on it so you should be able to copy & paste from the PDF into your favorite word processing or text application.

Some important notes for people who have been asking: 1) There is a cider, Strongbow. It would be eligible for the Signature Beverage Package. 2) There are a couple of extra wines on the list that are SBP eligible. These were not there in March, but they were probably there two weeks ago when we cruised. I just don't pay a lot of attention to the wines by the glass because we're more of a wines by the bottle people.
Each bar has its own list of signature cocktails as well. I love you all, but there's no way I'm scanning all those. However, there's a good chance that Roger (Crew News) loves you more and he may scan them.
Looks like there is no longer a Prosecco by the glass...I wonder how the 5.50 French sparkling is?
Thanks for posting POA1!

I think what is being forgotten here is that even in the colonnade you can order and never leave your seat. They will bring you whatever you want...you just have to ask.
I saw guests demanding the most complicated coffees, and breakfasts done the most obscure ways...returning them til they were satisfied.
Service is exemplary no matter which dining venue you are in.
Just because there are buffet items for convenience does not mean you need to utilize them.
Skittles.

I need to second (third or fourth LOL) the Tamarind. My husband is not really a cruiser...and hates to spend money. But on our Eurodam Caribbean cruise last year he would have eaten at Tamarind every night...and paid more for it if he had too.
As it was we got 2 nights (including our last night) and it was awesome both times. You have to have the wasabi encrusted filet mignon...to die for!!!!

Just wondering when you usually receive these tags...sailing on Saturday...and nothing yet?

You will be getting off 1 week before I board for my first Seabourn cruise! Let us know how things are on the Spirit these days. If I was boarding in 4 days I would be going out go my mind!

We lived our Signature suite on our Caribbean Eurodam cruise for the extra room, and the really large balcony!
However, contemplating an Alaskan cruise we were thinking just a Verandah as it s colder and everyone says you spend much more time or on the public decks for the views!

It also really depends on what selection there was for the under $7. I was on the Westerdam in January and if I recall most fancy bar drinks were 6.95, my beloved Prosecco was $6.50...not sure about wine. Does anyone know the current beer prices?
At $40/day, you get your money's worth at 5 drinks at $7 a drink...so lets say at 6. DH can easily drink 6 beers a day on vacay...but I'd be hard pressed to drink that, especially f I have wine in my cabin.
And...if those drink prices go up then selection will be an issue.

Well Balcony and Club Suite Balconies on the TA on the asun on April 2 are now showing sold out, with 30 days to go. Guess there isn’t much chance of an upgrade…
