I read somewhere if you take pop/soda in a 12 pack do not open it up and then tape it back together... they will have you open and show them that the soda/pop is just that...

We didn't open ours at all and before boarding they opened it and looked at each can same with the 4 pack of red bull. Actually they ripped them open. You need to carry them on not in your bag. And then after they rip the box then you can put them in your bag..lol

Does everyone in the room have to prepay? I have my children in a room with a non-relative adult. I would like to prepay theirs.

 

If I prepay, what does the onboard statement look like on day 2 when the gratuity charge typically hits? No charges?

 

Going thru a travel agent....do they take care of it for me, or is it part of the online check in process.

We went through a TA and I tried calling Carnival and my TA had to do it for me. Everything we did was prepaid and we had no problems. The service was FANTANSTIC!!! So of course we left way more for tips and such.

If you you got it, can you post it please? All I can find are old ones.

Just got off the 5 day cruise and they have not switched. They still have the selections. I didn't get copies they were posted on the walls before you entered.

We are headed to Galveston to board Triumph today. Carnival called yesterday with an upsell offer from a lido balcony to an ocean suite. Weather forecast is iffy so we took the suite in case we wind up spending a lot of time in the cabin. This wIll be our first Carnival suite. After our last Carnival cruise we said we weren't going to cruise Carnival again, and then after the Triumph we said we definitely weren't going on that ship. But here we are! I'm sure we'll have fun. I will report when we return.
