I just booked an aft extended balcony on upper deck.

I would call InsureMyTrip and see what they say. Nationwide is still my policy of choice even though my state doesn’t qualify for the missed port benefit. I like it because they cover preexisting conditions (I don’t have any) and Cancel For Any Reason if I want that up until final payment instead of within a specified amount of time of initial trip payment date.
We haven't purchased cruise insurance as of yet for this trip. We get insurance thru Insure My Trip, I will check out this policy.
Thanks

Ugh [emoji35]
Right now we are booked on the Glory for January 20th 2018. Most of the ports are questionable, none have been cancelled as of yet that I know of. What would be your suggestion be on buying insurance now?
Thanks

Upgrade fairy visited us last night. Went from a 4d midship interior to 6K Grand Scenic Oceanview for 180 for 5 days. Took it quick. This is for the Conquest.
What are you opinions on the room?
We had one of these in April on the Splendor, great room.

Back pack on the April 16th sailing on Splendor.

I just got off the Elation February 2nd. I did a B2B, 1-23 & the 28th. We missed HMC on the first sailing but made it on the second.
-
This is my experience with a B2B on the Elation's sailing on 1-23 & 1-28. We met at guest services at 9:30. We took our passports, which they never looked at and our customs declaration. They took our old cards. While they were getting our new cards, we had our pictures of the B2B people. One picture was as a group which we received free. We never did leave the guest services area, as they took care of the customs declarations forms. They asked if we wanted our old card back when they brought the new ones. We were given transit cards if we wanted to get off the ship. We had access to our rooms after we left guest services. The sailing on the 28th was my 25th Milestone cruise. We received a bottle of bubbly ,I also celebrated my birthday and a $50 gift card from the spa. We met in the casino for both muster drills. The first one we went to the lifeboats, second one we didn't. The weather wasn't the greatest for either sail away. No consistency in how these were handled.

There is a twister waterslide on Lido. It's not very big.

Just off a B2B on the Elation (Jan 23 & 28) sailing. The first muster we met inside , then out to the lifeboats, total time was about 45 minutes. On the second sailing, we didn't go to the lifeboats, total time was about 20 minutes. The weather wasn't the greatest for either sail away.:confused::confused:

I too take this every night at bedtime. I thought there was a restriction on plastic bottles with liquid in them, which is what MOM is in. I bought Phillips tablets just in case.

You are below The Palace Main Lounge, not my choice. We just booked E17 on Fasination.. Any comments or advice? -
Can you imagine how much they will have to expand the lost and found area? :p
I'd take them to the lost and found  -
I did one solo in November 2014 out of Miami, the first one was on the Conquest, the following week on the Splendor. Ships were docked nose to nose, 10 minute walk at the most. Nice change of scenery for the second week.

In January 2014 sailing on the Valor out of Sn Juan we received a complimentary up grade and an upsell after that all within a week. We originally had an aft wrap, the only reason for a complimentary upgrade to an ocean suite. Never having this category, we accepted. Three days later we received an upsell to a Grand Suite for a total 0f $250, which we accepted. So they do happen......but rarely.

Our last cruise........well let me just say how disappointed I am because basically, well everything was almost perfect. Each morning I got up extra early to get coffee so I could find a spot to watch the sun come up.....to my huge disappointment the sun rises were almost breathtaking as the sun rose over the edge of the ocean. Then I had to contend with the awesome warmth and peasant sunshine throughout the day.
One of my biggest disappointments was how awesome the steak and eggs were on the seaday brunch and then i tried the banana cream pie at brunch. I knew that a couple of our table mates said they didn't like the pie but I was furious when I ate it and liked it ALOT!
There was our room steward; he had the gall to keep our room extremely tidy and did an awesome job taking care of us....how rude is that!
Everywhere we went on the ship, no matter how hard we tried to find something to dislike or complain about.....the cruise employees had the nerve to speak kindly to us and treat us very good.
Our MDR table waiters were terrible; they took the time to remember our names, remember what we liked to drink, was quick to refill our drinks and even took very good care of us each night.......it was maddening.
This was almost a cruise from hell! I just don't know if I can bring myself to ever trust Carnival again and I don't know if I will ever give them another opportunity to treat us sooo poorly again.......Well OKAY, I will give them one more chance!!!!
Real Upset With Last Carnival Cruise:D:rolleyes:
Do you think Carnival may pay for counseling? :p

DH and I are platinum and sailing the Breeze in 5 weeks. I just viewed our boarding pass and it doesn't say "priority" on the boarding pass like it does on the luggage tags. It does say platinum and I am assuming that will get us through faster. Is that correct or should it say priority on the boarding pass, too? Thanks.
I sail solo on 11-28 on the Valor and my boarding pass and luggage tags have PRIORITY on both. PLATINUM only on boarding pass, not luggage tags.

We have seen one on the Carnival Dream in January 2010 in the theater over seat saving. The fighter were two females and both were disembarked at the next port. Other than that after 23 cruises, we haven't seen any other fights.
-
I'll throw in another port that hasn't been seen recently. I've noticed from looking at the ship plaques in the 'trophy cases' on many of the ships I've been on, that a lot of Carnival ships used to call in Limon, Costa Rica, and a lot of those plaques would say 2002, 2003, 2004, etc., but I don't think they've called there in forever.
Does anyone know why Carnival stopped calling there?
Triumph was there on the March 2 sailing this year.

According to my wife, it feels short.
Strange call & e-mail from Carnival
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
I'm just wondering if anyone has had this happen to them. Friday I received a call (voicemail) from my new Carnival PVP. A few minutes later I received an e-mail from this person. I say to myself ,what? I e-mailed my current PVP and asked him if he was still my PVP. He responded that he saw I had been re assigned to a different PVP. He then asked me if I wanted him to still be my PVP? He told me he would have to fill out paper work to keep me. I again say, what? I never requested a new PVP in the first place. Here's what pi**ed me off, I asked him how did this happen in the first place? His reply was, IT DOESN'T MATTER. Hmmmm? So I replied to him, DOESN'T MATTER? Anyway, he wrote back, telling me how he still considered me as a friend. He still would not answer my question, how did this happen in the first place? I wrote him again this morning and to see what he has to say. I have been with this PVP since 2005, 28 cruises booked with him! Before someone might say their is more to the story, no there isn't.
