Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) - yes, despite being on a "T" intersection to the interior hallway.
Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? -No
Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Just aft of the hump, so looking straight forward was obstructed slightly but was never an issue.
Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - normal
Was wind a problem? -no
If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - N/A
Any specific problems with this cabin? Since it is at an intersection with a fair amount of traffic from staff and everyone in the interior rooms, one should not open the door when someone else in the room is "exposed" also there was always carts outside the room for cleaning and such.
Any other comments? the balcony is metal instead of plexiglass so we had to look over the railing which was NO PROBLEM. the location in the ship was better than perfect. we had quick access to center aft steps, which we used often. during the busiest times we could take the steps to the Palace theater, main dining room, casino, promenade and bars for a quick drink to bring back to our room.
