How are you drinking Clamato if you're allergic to tomatoes? It is literally clam and tomatoes

Cruising on the 80days with Holland America Jan 04 2019 and would love to bring my

own Clamato mix with me when having a vodka drink. Please let me know

if this is allowed due to the restrictions on liquor,which this is not. Being on

a 80 day cruise and the amount of monies paid for the trip I think it should be allowed.

I did forget to mention I am allergic to Tomatoes.

Sorry about the lack of info,new at this thread business. We are travelling on Holland America," Prisendam "80 days to South America and Antartica. I figured with the price you pay for the trip, and I am not complaining,that I would be allowed a few bottles of Clamato. Inquired to Holland America and they did not get back to me.. On our last trip 36 days to Australia on the Princess they did let my wife bring on a few bottles.

We are travelling on the 80 day cruise Jan 4th 2019,I really enjoy Clamato juice with my Vodka,can I bring Clamato on board with me for our in room drinks. It is just not the same with Tomato juice. Please advise.

I hate knick knacks and souvenirs myself,common sense over rules,

We where on a 36 day cruise and the crew where very glad to take something special

home to their wife or mother,so I feel it is personal choice,whether it be Money,candy special Tee shirt or something that they can not get in their country. It is the thought that counts.

this thread is very informative,when we cruise we always have little gifts for the crew .from the chef to the room service ,they will always take care of you.

It is so nice to see them happy as they too are far from home. Never thought of a more personal way to give the tips,.will carry thank you notes with us..

Thanks for all the info,so glad you had a great time and that does make up for the other minor issues. We have traveled a bit and we learn every time,so do not feel that you are alone ,we all learn from one trip to the other. We are headed in Jan 4th 2019 for 80 days and we are sure there will be things we will forget to pack,but that is life and we will enjoy every minute hopefully.

We used magnets for the news of the day and the ships schedule,push pins

are a no no as far as we are concerned.To each his own if you have a need for them

then great if not, so be it,just passing on a hint we have. Great cruising.

36 Days on Princess

10 days on Princess Coral

and our planned trip 80 Days on Holland.

also 16 day River cruise with Ama Waterways. All trips were excellent

We had fridges in our rooms, except Ama .Gym,s were enough for a good work out.

Take a few Magnets to hand things on the walls, so you do not tape the walls

great ones in Home Depot with hooks on them.

We also took air freshener spray as rooms are small and stuffy at times.

Enjoy your trip relax and learn for your next trip.

Thanks Hank for your response,we have sailed quite a bit taking our sail boat from the great lakes to the Caribbean.Our longest cruise was from Fort Lauderdale to Australia on the Pacific Princess.We do enjoy each others company and always find things to do.Both in our late 70,s we thought this trip would cover most of our bucket list.Thank you so much for any hints that would make our trip more enjoyable. We are planning to do the Mekong Vietnam,Cambodia river cruise Jan10th2017.

Would appreciate any info to help make our first river cruise a trip to remember. for instance,what to wear,food,best cabin.time of year and any thing else you could think of.Best regards .
