Don't give up on MSC. There are reports that their customer service is not their strong suit (although we've not had any problems). We were on Divina last March and loved it. Sailing their new ship, Seaside, this coming March and can't wait.
I loved the Divina we booked Seaside for April.. I hope they have the same pizza.

They have a website for status match just fill out the papers and email it back in and you should get a confirmation when they receive it. I loved cruising with MSC so much iwhile I was on the boat I booked the new seaside.

We will be in GT in January & would be interested in renting a golf cart. Where exactly can you rent them? Thanks for the information.
I rented through Karib auto rentals online. Exit the main gate of the port and it was only like a 3 min walk. They are set up on the side of the main road. Gold carts, Dune buggies, and mopeds.

I rented a golf cart when 2 years ago. It was a blast we drove all over. Shopped, ate, went to the most beautiful beach, flea market, lighthouse and house looking. I would highly recommend this!! The port beach area was packed. I liked the adventure.

In Grand Turks rent a golf cart. You can explore the whole island on your own. Beach, shopping, and lighthouse .

Let me rephrase this. I have never been on a cruise line that is dedicated to non English speaking travelers. Their main clientele is Europeans. I have been to Europe several times and I loved it. However their hospitality is much different than Americans. No one at our table in the dinning room spoke English.

I just got off the Divina in Nov. My husband wore dress jeans and a button down top to dinner. The food in the dinning room was ok but the buffet pizza was excellent. If you can get past all the rude foreign cruisers the Divina was amazing.

Rent a Jeep and do it yourself. There is only 1 main road around the whole island. We rented a car in Oct and had a blast. It was 70.00 for a Jeep with all the insurance from Isis car rental.

I have been to Old San Juan on a cruise and also spent a week there. I would recommend Casa Blanca, the forts and Barrachina " original Pina Colada". At the port walk up the hill past the Sheraton and look for the free trolley stop. The free trolley is a great way to see the city without a lot of walking.

15-20 min drive from the port to the city . I went in Dec and the port was very new so I booked a tour with Carnival. City tour with rum factory sorry I don't remember how much it was. I would recommend doing something else the tour was boring and the area we went was really dirty.

I have been to Amber cove nothing is close maybe a 15-20 taxi ride. The boardwalk (Malecon) didn't have a lot. I would do a excursion or tour or stay at the pool area.

I spent a week in old San Juan steps from the cruise port. Traffic was bumper to bumper everyday from the city ( airport area) to port area. Allow at least 45-1hr to be safe for travel time.

If your coming into Punta Langosta Pier there is a great little hotel to swim at. Hotel Barracuda is family friendly and overlooks the ocean.
