  1. We took a taxi to the Carambola beach club in St. Kitts. It was very cheap to and from and didn't have to pay to roam the beach club and enjoy the beautiful beach.

In St. Maarten we did a Carnival excursion that was snorkeling and plane watching. We loved it! We boarded a smaller boat right next to the cruise line and they took us over to the airport. We got to snorkel and relax while the planes landed.

I love Snorkeling, Especially if there are Sea Turtles!!

  2. . Make sure you let John Heald know you're cruising to celebrate an anniversary or at least have your PVP note it on your reservation. John sent us chocolate covered strawberries and champagne for our 30th anniversary on our Baltic cruise. The wait staff will get notice that you are celebrating an anniversary too and do something special for you one night. I'm so excited for you. Enjoy looking forward to your cruise and planning all your shore excursions.

When I booked today, I told them we were going to be celebrating our wedding anniversary. How do I go about contacting John? We have a set of friends coming with us. They will be celebrating 20 years also. My Dad and Step Mom are planning to come(Still undecided of yet) will be celebrating 35 years. So there will be a whole lot of celebrations!

  3. Hello everyone, it has been a LONG time since I last posted. Our last cruise was January 2013. We had a blast but we weren't in a position to go on another cruise. BUT, I just booked our next cruise today! I am so flipping excited. We will be on the Conquest in February 2018, Celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. We will hit 20 years this November, but wanted to wait until the winter months to sail. The ports are, St Maarten, St Kitts, San Juan and Grand Turk. We haven't been to St Maarten ot St Kitts, so that is what I am most excited about.

If anyone has any tips about St Maarten or St Kitts please let me know.

  4.

We are big fans of Geocaching, so I did some research before our trip and found that there are a good bit of caches at Half Moon Cay. So we loaded them all onto our GPS before we left the house and planned to set out to find at least a couple of them while we were on the island.

That is such a awesome idea of something to do at a Island! I have wanted to start Geocaching for a while now. I am going to have to keep this in mind for our next cruise.

  5. I am considering booking a cruise on the Liberty in January 2014 ... But a friend of mine just got off the ship two days ago and told me a few thing that has me rethinking about booking it now. :o

She told me the service has gone down. The food is not that good.

Said a few times in the MDR food at times seemed reheated from the night before. :(

She said ST Thomas is a filthy island ...

Any info that you can give me would be great.

    Thanks ;)

When we sailed on the Liberty back in January I wasnt all that impressed with the food. They rotated the same food through the buffet. It was standard Buffet food. The pizza and burgers were really good though.

Again I wasn't all that impressed with the food in MDR.

We didnt really explore the Island. But it was one of our favorite ports because of the excursion we went on. We did the catamaran and snorkeling. It was amazing and so much fun!

  6. I have read or watched videos of people who actually did have horrible cruises. Like the one that had a fire and lost power for 3 days (I think it was) they had no hot water, no food other than what was brought in. Or the cruises where everyone was sick and they couldn't come back to port.

Forgot missing ports. Forget not get $50pp comp. What did you do to make the bad situation as good as it could possibly be?
