  1. Hi cruisers

Heading on my first sailing on the Getaway. When we return to port I will be walking across the parking lot and boarding the Carnival Vista.

    Couple questions:

We’ll be in the port of Miami. From experience I believe I should be able to walk from one terminal to another. Can anyone confirm?

Secondly, since there won’t be a rush for us to debark is O’Sheehan’s open for breakfast and drinks. I believe they’re 24 hours but want to make sure that it’s alcohol and food...so we can grab one more Bloody Mary. If they do, does anyone know if the drink package will work? No worries if we have to buy, I understand the books need to be settled, but I’m curious as to when the official last call is.

Thanks for your help. Happy cruising.

  2. Hi Cruisers

Cruising on the Pearl in March. First time (as an adult) on NCL. Seasoned cruiser on Carnival, but thought it was time to try another line.

We're in a suite and are curious about debarktion since we don't have "status" with NCL. We're use to priority debarktion on Carnival, and plan our return flight accordingly. Are suite guests part of priority debarktion (if there is such a thing on NCL)?

We are in and out of Miami. If there is priority debarktion your feedback on what time we can expect to be off the ship would be appreciated. If there isn't, I would also appreciate knowing the expected time off so I can plan accordingly.

If anyone wants to share any other feedback on the Pearl that would be great.

    Thank you in advance.

  3. I have not had personal experience with this, but I thought there was not sticker on the S&S card when you checked in, but once on the ship, you had to go and check in at the Cheers table, verify, and then they added the sticker...

That was also my experience a couple weeks ago. It doesn't show up, there is no sticker, but when you board there's a cheers desk right on 3. They look up your name and give you the sticker. Do that before getting a drink to avoid having to have the drink taken off your account later.

  4. Hi Cruisers. Looking to book the Miracle 15 Hawaii cruise in 2015. We've done everything from penthouse suites to interior cabins so we usually understand the layouts - however I could use some help on this one. Does anyone know the difference between the following cabins: 8143, 8260, 8256? All are on Panorama, all interior, but by the snapshot on the deck plans they look to all be different. 8143 is a bit more square (mid ship), the other two are both in the aft, but one is vertical facing and the other horizontal. I wasn't sure how they would be configured and was hoping someone would have experience in a similar type cabin.

    Thanks.

  5. Hi Cruisers: Couple questions for recent Miracle cruisers:

*Does the Miracle have any 2.0 upgrades?

    * What is on the Serenity Deck? Is there a bar? Looks like the plans show two grill or bar type areas on either side but I couldn't make out what they are.

Thanks for the information. Pictures would be appreciated.

  6. My statement about the Vibe seems confusing. As a Haven guest, you don't need to worry about using the Vibe. You are getting that private experience in the Haven.

    Hopefully that made sense

Thank you Piper...I think I followed you. It sounds like the Haven has everything that the Vibe offers so we wouldn't need it.

    Appreciate the quick reply.

  7. NCL Cruisers:

I could use your help. I have 15 cruises with Carnival, and 2 more booked for later this year. It's time for me to give NCL a try. You'll see from my signature line I have 2 with NCL...way back on the Norway and Seaward. Lots of changes since then... With that said it seems like the Haven is the place to be. I'm sure I'll have more questions as I book, but to get me started I would like more information on the forward-facing penthouse with balcony cabins. I can't find a picture or an accurate floor plan on the NCL site. Does anyone have a picture of these cabins and is the balcony actually in the front of the ship, or is it on the side. Additionally I'm confused about the courtyard penthouse with balcony. They seem like they're smaller and on the side of the ship, but the price is higher so I think I'm missing something. I'm thinking about booking the Getaway - but am open top options from the seasoned NCL cruisers. Lastly, if you're in the Haven does that give you access to everything on the ship? I thought I saw something about a private adults only area called Posh, and something else called Vibe where you can rent private cabanas for the sailing. Thanks in advance for the help...I'm trying to quickly get up to speed on NCL.
