Hi All,
We are sailing on the Getaway in April. We are booked in a balcony cabin with a king bed and a pull out sofa. I noticed that this cabin does not have the drop down bed from the ceiling like we have had on some of our previous cruises. Just curious, are there balcony rooms on the Getaway that do have the drop down bed? And if so, is there way to tell which ones they are? Thanks!

Thank you! Does anyone know what time it opens on embarkation day?

Y'all may think were crazy but can anyone tell me if the fitness area is open on Embarkation day and what time that will be?
Thanks so much!

For me it would depend on the ship and the length of the cruise. We are currently booked on the Breeze and if we were offered that, we would take it in a heartbeat. A four day cruise probably not. 6,7, 8 day definitely!

Ok! Thanks!

My husband and I are talking about taking our kids on a cruise after Christmas through New Years as a Surprise Christmas present. My question is this......is it better to book now or wait. I'm just curious if prices could possibly go down between now and then or if they are probably set being over a holiday. Any thoughts? Thanks so much!

Great thanks!

This may be a silly question but I just want to make sure! I have a debit card from a personal business that I would like to use to buy cruise cash with. Can I use this cruise cash in the casino? I just dont want to carry a ton of cash on board with me. Thanks!

Do any of the ships have a dual Piano bar? We were on the Epic last year and they had one (Howl at the Moon) and it they were amazing. Just curious.

Hi All,
We are booked on the Breeze in September and are looking to book a sailing excursion with a private company in Cozumel. While talking with the company, we told them that the Breeze is supposed to get in at 10 and leave at 6 as it says on our itinerary. They company told me that there excursion leaves at 9:30 but that the Breeze has been getting in between 8-9 every week. When I looked at the current itinerary, it appears that the arrival time in Cozumel is currently 10:00. Is there anyone who has recently been on the Breeze who can tell me what time they arrived at port and what time they were allowed off the boat? Has 10:00 been accurate?
The company has been nice enough to hold 2 spots for us without putting money down so if we dont make it, it we wont be out anything, but I also dont want to be looking for something to do if we know there is no way to make this excursion.
Thanks so much for your help!

Hi All!
My husband and I are looking for a fun excursion to do when we go to Cozumel on the Breeze in September. He came across the Tucan Sailing Adventure Excursion through Cozumel Sailing on Trip Advisor. Has anyone done this recently? Do you recommend it? Or is there another company you recommend for a day of sailing?
Thanks!

Does anyone know the current movies that are showing there right now?

Thanks everyone for your replies! It sounds like we should just keep the cabin we have! I'm not going to worry! After all, we are on a cruise right?? :p

Fabulous! Just what I needed to hear! Thanks so much!

Hi All!
My husband and I just booked a 6 day on the Breeze for September 7th going to (Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel). :D:D We decided we wanted to try a Lido balcony cabin for the first time. When talking to Carnival and trying to choose our room, she was very convincing that we wanted to stick with a Starboard side balcony for this itinerary. When asked why, she said because they always book up first . So we grabbed one that was left. The problem is that it is Forward instead of Midship (10259) and now I'm worried that we will be disappointed not being Midship. Any insight into the side of the ship we should really be on from experience? And is there really a lot more rocking being in the front of the ship? I am going back and forth if we should change midship Port side or stick with what we have.
Thanks everyone!!

Just curious and I think I know the answer, but do any of the deck 6 aft cabins have shade?
-
We just switched from a September 1st sailing on the Freedom to a September 7th sailing on the Breeze. Not only did they waive any fees, they also refunded us the difference in price. No questions asked! I was pleasantly surprised!!

I would go for the "L"- shaped balconies next to the aft wraps. These have a huge balcony but for the same price as a regular balcony! If the Empress ones are open (7434,7439) are open, I would grab them, and use the money saved on other "stuff."
YES! 7434 is still available. I will look into this room and see what it is all about. I have never even heard of these. I just put a hold on it :) Thanks!

Thank you all!! You have been a ton of help! Will talk to my DH and book today!!!

For all you experienced Freedom cruisers, we would LOVE your help! My DH and I are planning to book on the September 1 cruise on the Freedom (5 nt.). We are going kidless so it will just be the 2 of us. :)
We have always booked balcony rooms but have considered upgrading to either an aft balcony or an aft wrap around balcony. For those who have had either, do you all think its worth the extra money?
It appears that it is only 100.00 more for the aft balcony but 550.00 more for the aft wrap. We are so ready to book but I just cant decide!!
Thanks so much!!

Thank you! They are about 9 sq. feet bigger then the Epic. Maybe that will enough to convince him ;)

Hi Everyone! Forgive me if this has been asked, but I searched and couldn't find it!!
I am wondering if anyone knows or can direct me to the place I could find the square footage of the Cove Cabin and a regular Balcony cabin room on the Breeze. Last year our family of 4 went on the NCL Epic and my DH said he would never go on them again in a regular room because the rooms were so small! (way smaller then we remember on any of our Carnival cruises).
Thanks so much!!

We just got off the Liberty on Saturday. We loved our balcony and location. We had a junior suite which gave us a lot more room and only cost about 200 more. Our cabin was 9564 and was a bump out cabin which made our balcony bigger. There was easily enough room for 2 lawn chairs and 2 chairs and a table. Now with that said, this was our first Royal Caribbean cruise and can't compare our room or balcony to other balcony rooms without the bump out. I will have to say that the junior suite was way worth the extra 200!

OK! I see. Duh! Thanks!
Non Alcohoic Beer
in Norwegian Cruise Line
Posted
Hi All,
I know this has been asked before and I read the other threads but they are older and have conflicting information. Has anyone recently tried to bring non alcoholic beer on board? I have called twice and 1 person said it was not allowed and 1 said it was allowed . I havent read great things about the Bucklers that is served on board and I know my DH would like a few good tasting NA beers if possible when we sail on the Getaway next week. Thanks!
