Not sure where to post this question. What is the best way to get to Port besides using the cruise line transportation. And other words is there a cheaper option that people would recommend on how to get from Miami airport to Port Miami?

The last time we cruised my son and I got the social media internet package. We were able to both be on social media for $5 a day. When I went and signed up for this time I had to actually pick a phone line and they said it was $20 per phone line (it's a 5 day cruise. Is that actually true or can both of us be on the social media at the same time?

We are leaving on Carnival Ecstasy this week so if somebody could reply I would really appreciate it

Not going on an excursion so with that in mind where is the closest public area with good snorkeling? Are there taxi's to take you there etc...

We are looking for an adventure excursion, myself and my 16 yr old boy and we are looking for suggestions. The ship excursions are booked :eek:

We are not wanting to go to a beach, shop, ziplining, go to the ruins etc.... I was hoping for something along the lines of ATV's or something adventurous etc.... Looking for someone reputable.

We have never done an excursion not booked through the cruise line so I am nervous about this.

Advice on to excursion or not to excursion.

Will be going in a couple of months but I wanted to know if there are any good spots to go snorkeling within a short walking distance (from tender drop off) without going with an excursion. I would love an opportunity just to explore and snorkel and not be with a tour group. Just wanted some nice one on one time with my teenager.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Also I have heard conflicting reports about lunch. One said the ship brings food ashore and is complimentary however someone else said no you have to purchase lunch. Just trying to plan.

Need advice. We would like to go and enjoy the day at Half Moon and do some snorkeling with out purchasing an excursion. Not sure if we are able to do that or not. Does anyone who has been there have some advice?:confused:

Thinking of taking a cruise to the Bahama's Jan 3, 2015. I am concerned over the temperature of the water and the weather. I would like to hear from someone who has been to Nassau or Half Moon Cay in the beginning part of January. Just want to make sure its warm enough to go snorkeling without a wet suit.
