  1. Will be in Barbados on Wednesday May 9, 2018, and I'm looking into visiting the boat yard, for the Turtle snorkel. Do I need to pre-register, or can I just show up and pay admission? Wasn't sure how it worked?

Also, If you've done the tour, how did you like it?

  2. I did a Western Cruise on the Victory out of Miami in January of 2015. At that time it was a blizzard in my home state of NJ and about 15 degrees outside. The weather in Miami was in the low 60's and that was warm enough to sit by the pool to us, comparing to what we just came from. But the sea days were very warm. Key West was chilly, but even then, still warm enough to swim. Cozumel was 85 degrees and hot!!

I guess it all depends on what you consider warm. Hope it helps!

  3. Hello! So I recieved a casino offer valid thru December 19, which includes $99 deposit along with some other stuff. Wasn't planning on cruising this year, however I stumbled across the 7 day out of San Juan, for $398pp! Ports include St.Thomas, St.Martin, St.Kitts, Barbados and St.Lucia.

I'm well aware of the damage sustained by most of the Islands from the hurricanes, but I wanted to know whether the cruise still had a chance of being cancelled. I don't want to miss this opportunity but I also don't want to book everything, only for it to be cancelled. Any advice is helpful!

I'll also add that I'm not looking for the islands to be perfect, nor do I mind a small ship. My first cruise was on the victory, and this will only be my 2nd trip.

  4. Husband and I will be in KW on January 29th. We arrive on the carnival victory at 7:30 am. I scheduled a snorkeling trip, thinking that the water would be warm. I'm from NJ, and wanted to know is this even possible?

We will also be in cozumel, so I didn't know if that would be the better option. Secondly, I'm DYING to try the conch. The snorkel trip will be back at 12:30 and drops us off at front and Greene st. Is there anywhere close to the port to get some conch and head back to ship. I don't want to jeopardize our trip by being late.

    Thanks!
