Just a few questions I have, looking to sail on enchantment soon, I did have a cruise book to sail back in june of last year but ended up having to cancel..

Im still working on trying to convince my bf to take a cruise, and I maybe having a break through:D as we were at the beach yesterday and he said he'd actually take one!

Now, the last time I sailed was monarch back in 2010 (I think). And as I read more and more reviews it seems like a lot has changed and I am very much used to what I now refer as 'old school' style of cruising... so the questions I have are:

1. Can you still board with just an I.d. and birth certificate?

2.opinions please on mtd vs.the old way of early or late seating?

3. Are the drink packages a way of saving money?

4.do they still have the photo area withthe actual prints you can buy or is it all newer withthe face recognition?

5. We drink soda, but not enoughto want to purchase a soda package, is there a way to bring some on board with us?

Also any pros and cons or opinions or advice for sailing enchantment are welcome :)

Love your review. And I must agree, royal could learn a thing or two from carnival with the 24 hour pizza.

I love all the choices of places to visit, wether is the Mediterranean, Caribbean, or Alaska.

Also, I love that there is sooooo much food :)

I agree with you, I like the steel drum music on the pool deck! It sets the mood for the cruise wayyyyyy better than a d.j. Enjoy you vacation!
