  1. If you go by the Spa, any chance you can tell us if they offer Day Pass for the Thermal Spa? Boarding in 2 weeks and contemplating if we should buy for the whole week. We just plan to go once or twice.

    Thanks in advance!

    Onboard this week as well.

You tap your cruise card to the door, and it unlocks your cabin.

Dining service is excellent. We’ve also eaten in the specialty restaurants, and they are exceptional. Def worth buying a package with 3 1/2 sea days. The food in the buffet is very good. I’m gluten free and have found plenty of healthy options. Today, the buffet had a dessert bar (I’ll post a pic below), and tomorrow’s will be all chocolate according to the pastry chef.

Yes, there is a welcome back cocktail party. Ours is today (Friday) at 5pm.

How was the Welcome Back? Were there complimentary drinks? We are not buying the alcohol package, so trying to see where to get low price drinks. 😃  (First time sailing CHILD-FREE!!)

  3. Is the ship using cruise cards where you slip a part of it down to open the door or it's a bracelet? (Want to see if I should bring lanyard, badge holder or hole punch card.)

How is the dining service so far?

Was there a Welcome Back Cocktail for regular members? (So not Yacht Club and if this is not your first time on MSC)

Thanks for doing this! We are so anxious about our trip in 2 weeks!

  4. Back in 2013 when we ported at San Juan, we took a super cheap tour that basically took us all around the San Juan area for like $15 a person & I'm wondering if they still exist?

    Here is what I remember:

We did not buy tickets in advance, but rather got off the boat and went to some area where all these people were selling their tours.

The vehicle wasn't really a bus, more like a crude shuttle. It was not an enclosed vehicle, but it did have a cover over our heads. No seatbelts, no AC, and you needed to hold on to the rails.

It went to a bunch of stops for 10-20 minutes, enough time for you to get off, take some pictures and then get back on for the next stop.

I remember we went to one of the forts, to some Government building, and ended in Old San Juan. They basically had a few last stops in the Old San Juan area and you got off when you want.

Does anyone know if they still exist and if there are any info online? Our ship docks on a Saturday and I was hoping we can do the San Juan tour SUNDAY before we fly out.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  5. Also did the same last Saturday coming off ship except our flight was not until late in the afternoon so we took cab to Intercontinental hotel located right next to airport and took advantage of a day pass which inludes a 50 minute massage and use of all their facilities (shower, locker beach chairs umbrella, pool). Great service, well worth it and a great way to end the trip.

Can you provide any any info on the Day Pass? How much and where you were able to get the info? thanks in advance!

  6. I've read somewhere that Concierage class can request a later disembarkment time, as late as after lunch.

Does anyone have experience with this or know anything about it?

It would be great if we can find out how late we can dimembark.

Also, do we still have access to our room?

Apologies if this has been addressed in another thread. Read through 3 pages of threads regarding Conierage Class & didn't see anyone mention this topic.

Thanks in advance for your insight!

  7. I just realized our Balcony room is right outside the Elevators for the Divina.

Should I be worries about foot traffic and the Elevator "ding" all night?

I'm in room 10161 (So Deck 10) and according to the deckplan, is right at the entrance to the elevators.

Not sure if we can still change rooms, but any insight would be helpful.

    Thanks in advance!
