  1. I have booked for the dream in may 2018. Have been doing a lot of research as it’s my first cruise with tui[emoji846]

I’ve read a few things that it has the norovirus onboard which has made me abit worried.

I believe it was during the winter season that the norovirus was on board so hopefully it hasn’t continued 🤭

    Anyone travelled recently?

    Thank you!

  2. Hi.

I have booked Marella dream as a surprise for hubbys 30th Birthday.

I was hoping to surprise him by giving him a marella cruise brochure.

Every store in Northern Ireland is out of the brochures and tui won’t send me a brochure out. Has anybody got a spare brochure book that they would post to me. I will pay postage of course.

    Many thanks.

  3. 4 days into our Caribbean cruise Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the seas we got married.

On 20 May 2014 our cruise ship docked in St.Thomas VI. I travelled with my parents to Marriott's Frenchman's Reef hotel (our wedding venue) the hotel was able to give me a day room to get ready in as I was getting married there. (At a very good rate too!) I organised the wedding with the hotels wedding planner via emails as royal caribbean didn't offer this in there wedding packages.

My husband and his family soon arrived we wed at the hotels wedding gazebo, had pictures taken on the beautiful hotel grounds and beach, then soon returned back to the cruise ship, relaxed for a while before going to chops grille onboard to celebrate our big day. $35pp. The meal was delicious. I know you can have a proper wedding cake onboard but very pricey at over $100. So instead we had pre ordered a normal vanilla cake at $15 they wrote congratulations on it, it just looked as nice!

For the entertainment we organised with our group to go to dazzles. The bar with the coloured floor which lights up different colours. It was perfect as live singing was being performed we even managed to have our first dance.

We had family take pictures of us onboard, on the carousel, beside the old vintage car on royal promenade, and on deck.

It was a fabulous day! Everyone was so helpful. I'm going on another cruise next week for our honeymoon 'Navigator of the seas' departing out of Texas. I can't wait to sail again with Royal Caribbean. I definitely recommend getting married and celebrating onboard, already talking about renewing our vows onboard:D

  4. Hello,

I'm arriving in st. Thomas with royal Caribbean's oasis of the seas in may 2014.

I am booked to get married in Frenchmans reef by Marriott. I have tried to contact wedding planner to discuss wedding plans with her. I Have made several phone calls, left voicemail messages, sent emails. She has not responded to any of these. I am being completely ignored. Photographer hasn't been booked or videographer. Only thing that is booked is the venue. I am extremely worried as its just under 4 months. Anyone else had problems with this hotel before?

    Worried bride to be:mad:

    Thanks, Lauren.

  5. Hey all,

Im going onboard oasis of the seas, may 2014.

Getting married in st Thomas. Have organised my wedding with a wedding planner onshore so it's not through royal Caribbean. Hoping to have my wedding reception in chops grille.

I'd like somewhere private on the ship to have a disco for my guests and most importantly so we can have our first dance. I've been doing research and have came across the pinnacle lounge. Has anyone hired a private room on the ship? And is there a dj and bar available?

    Thanks, Lauren.
