  1. Would you rather sail for 12 days, royal Caribbean on grandeur of the sea in an interior room for 400 dollars more or do a balcony room on carnival pride for 7?

What are things you'd consider? It'll be myself who's pregnant and just wants to eat and relax, my husband and our 3 year old.

Both are out of Baltimore, so the ships aren't the biggest or newest but it's convienent. 400 dollars for double the time, but we've always had at least a porthole in our room.

Side note, I'm pleased this is the biggest dilemma I'm having in life right now.

  2. I'm allergic to dairy soy(including veg oil) and eggs - Holland America Westerdam did an amazing job. We had our waiter who gave me the menu of the following evenings dinner so they could specially make mine. The room service was ehh but they tried! and the buffets are hard but we did try to eat lunch in the dining room and that was superb. My husband even requested a special chocolate cake (which is typically full of dairy soy and eggs) for our anniversary and they make me AN ENTIRE CAKE. It was so sweet all of the effort, including the staff, that they put into making it a surprise and special (even calling the room to speak to my husband and making up some elaborate fake story when I answered, LOL)

Just be vocal. I brought a lot of my own snacks but they all acted like it was their pleasure to accommodate.

  3. speaking only as a young hairstylist and not one who has ever used the services on board. Just bring an extra curling iron and some spray if she needs a little touch up, and even if it doesn't last I'd ask the girls to do a little spruce up midweek. Sets are basic though and basically universal. Im sure it wont be their first rodeo! :D

  4. I leave for a cruise this weekend (!!!!!) so excited. But! Here's our dilemma - we have a baby so we need a car seat and we'd like to stop by a store. We are flying into Miami and are leaving out of the Port Everglades. We need transportation to and from after the cruise.

What would you suggest doing with considering budget and low stress? This is our first trip with our little lady, planning isn't as "carefree" as before. :D
