Brillohead, this is the exact fan that I have and plan to bring. I think I will add a few more magnetic hooks to my bag to ensure that I have enough to use for the fan if needed.
Thanks to all that have commented! Your knowledge and past experiences is most helpful. :-)

Thanks for your quick response! I now know I can charge my phone and plug in a small fan for sleeping at the same time! It's the small things that make all the difference. We are spoiled and have difficulty sleeping without that little fan!! :-)

We have booked our first Royal Caribbean cruise to celebrate our 25th anniversary. I have a question about the power outlets in the cabins. How many plugs are there and where are they located? I have looked at youtube videos and pics but am not able to see the outlets. For you past Majesty guests, please help me out. Thanks! Oh, I am in an inside cabin on deck six.

I'll be on that sailing too! We are celebrating my 50th on the 15th
If I don't run into you aboard the Dream, I hope you have a fantastic birthday. I know you will as what can be better than celebrating your 50th at sea. ;p

We will be on this ship 01/14/18.....111 days, 15 hours and 56 minutes.......not that my countdown clock is on my phone or anything like that, LOL. She's a beauty to see sailing down the mighty Mississippi.

We always get Cheers, we think it's a great value. The first thing we do when we board is get a FunShip. I love the martinis: Tiramisu, Apple, Chocolate, Butterscotch. These are very sweet, so I alternate with vodka and diet coke. If I really want to get a good buzz going quickly, I order a couple Long Island Iced Teas. They don't taste good, but they get you going. Lol Note that if you are sailing out of Galveston, you cannot use your Cheers until day 2. We always purchase online ahead of time. I believe it's $5 more per person if you purchase it on the ship.
Just wondering, is Galveston the only port that won't honor the Cheers program until day two?

Thanks for taking the time to do this trip report. It has been great following along. I was wondering about when you got your sail and sign card. We last sailed out of New Orleans on the Dream in January 2018 and were issued our cards inside the terminal at check-in. Are they still doing that or have they switched over to having the cards in the mail slot outside your cabin door? We sail on the Valor on December 2nd and are counting down the days!!
