I had one, once.
It didn’t feel like a balcony to me.

This could so easily be solved at no cost or damage to the environment.
A simple laminated card it leant against the towel animal saying it is constructed from bathroom towels and to deconstruct when the towels are needed.
If the instruction then said turn card over and leave on bed if towel animals are not needed, the other side saying "No towel animal please."
Simple, just like the card you leave on your bed in a hotel if you don't need the sheets changing.
Those who like them are happy, those that don't are happy, the steward is happy as they get tips from the lovers and no damage to the seas.
Sounds like a great compromise!

Devastated and outraged? You're joking, right?
Nope.
Totally disgusted.

I already bring my own shower gel.

No, I don’t think about the logistics of running a successful vacation business.
I do think about higher fees and decreased services.
That is what I take issue with.
I am positive I am not the only one that sees this as a negative.
Another approach that they could have taken is eliminating the pool towels.
I never use them, I bring my own, so that it coordinates with my accessories.

I have to be honest- I am devastated by this decision.
I have a photo of every towel animal that I have ever received.
I think this is outrageous.
The gratuities were just raised and the service is diminishing?!?!
I do have 2 cruise booked already, but I will look elsewhere to book in the future.

I disembarked on Friday the first.
The ship was exceptionally warm, in my opinion.
I never required a jacket/sweater while indoors or on the deck in the evening.

I am booked for 2/15 Panama Canal cruise.
When it is 2 weeks, are there 2 glow parties?
4 NCL Nights Out?
I am hoping to pack accordingly for the trip . . .

I have been to Bermuda in early November.
It was 70 and sunny, a little windy.
I enjoyed the beach very much, the water was surprisingly warm.

I had a similar experience!
I sailed on Breakaway in Jan 2014, the hot dog guy was a real treat. We looked for him every day.
When We booked the 2018 cruise, that was all I talked about. Didn’t see him until the final day. By then, my best friend believed that I had imagined him!
The quality of the dogs/ toppings were not as good.

Humongous line.
Being platinum didn’t help at all.
-
Interesting.
I was on the Breakaway in March of last year, and I had to wait for a table!
Food was amazing, simply enormous portions.
Drinks were incredibly strong and huge.
The server was very attentive.
I found it to be a wonderful spot.

Totally agree. It was horrendous having to drag it everywhere I went on RCI.

Quick question -
I am platinum. My cabinmate is silver. Does she have to pay to join me on the tour, or is she allowed to join me?
Thank you

The white hot party was the night before the last sea day.
Dress up or not night was night 2. I don't think there was another.
There were other parties but none were special dress that I can remember.
Have fun on your cruise.
Thank you! This helps immensely!

Hello- I am sailing on the Pearl on Sunday, same itinerary.Do you recall what days were formal and what day is the white night?
Any other parties that we should plan for?

On NCL, Dingo Dave is my favorite.
All time favorite is Malcolm “whoo who” Burns on CCL.
I was on the RCI Oasis last year, coincidentally was berthed next to a CCL ship that was preparing to leave- the crowd was cheering and having a fabulous time. I was intrigued because I found the Oasis experience to be quite boring, so I looked up the CD on the ship that appeared to be having so much more fun- yup, it was Malcolm!

I have bought Alex and Ani bracelets onboard,as gifts. Prices were reasonable.
The suggestion of a watch is a great idea, too.

Curious about this, also. As a retired RN, I am now free to cruise last minute, and take advantage of the Sail Away rates.

I didn’t realize we EVER retired! You are giving me hope for my future!
Enjoy!

I imagine I will visit Isaac so much I might miss Charo’s performance . . .
:')

Does anyone know who the CD will be for the 11/26 sailing?

I was upgraded from an inside to one, on the Dawn in 2015.
I thought it was great, because the room got some light. I was about 4 down from that “sideways” cabin, I peaked in every chance I got!
It was close to the elevator and very close to what used to be the Blue Lagoon.
I would choose it again!

We've been able to get all of ours and we are up to 34 with lots of duplicates.
Any extra from the gem? I'd love to buy one. . .

I've been on the Sunshine, you did NOT want to get onto that, believe me.
