  1. Just now, ziggyuk said:

This could so easily be solved at no cost or damage to the environment.

A simple laminated card it leant against the towel animal saying it is constructed from bathroom towels and to deconstruct when the towels are needed.

If the instruction then said turn card over and leave on bed if towel animals are not needed, the other side saying "No towel animal please."

Simple, just like the card you leave on your bed in a hotel if you don't need the sheets changing.

Those who like them are happy, those that don't are happy, the steward is happy as they get tips from the lovers and no damage to the seas.

    Sounds like a great compromise!

  2. No, I don’t think about the logistics of running a successful vacation business.

I do think about higher fees and decreased services.

That is what I take issue with.

I am positive I am not the only one that sees this as a negative.

Another approach that they could have taken is eliminating the pool towels.

I never use them, I bring my own, so that it coordinates with my accessories.

  3. I had a similar experience!

I sailed on Breakaway in Jan 2014, the hot dog guy was a real treat. We looked for him every day.

When We booked the 2018 cruise, that was all I talked about. Didn’t see him until the final day. By then, my best friend believed that  I had imagined him!

The quality of the dogs/ toppings were not as good.

  4. On NCL, Dingo Dave is my favorite.

All time favorite is Malcolm “whoo who” Burns on CCL.

I was on the RCI Oasis last year, coincidentally was berthed next to a CCL ship that was preparing to leave- the crowd was cheering and having a fabulous time. I was intrigued because I found the Oasis experience to be quite boring, so I looked up the CD on the ship that appeared to be having so much more fun- yup, it was Malcolm!

  5. I was upgraded from an inside to one, on the Dawn in 2015.

I thought it was great, because the room got some light. I was about 4 down from that “sideways” cabin, I peaked in every chance I got!

It was close to the elevator and very close to what used to be the Blue Lagoon.

    I would choose it again!
