I will be a young 55 next July. Do anyone know what addition perks someone get when they turn 55 on Carnival, RCI or NCL. I am platinum on CC and RCI.
Thanks

Deb, I am part Hawaiian, and have family there. Also I lived and was stationed there for 5 years. NCL have the Pride of America that does a 7 day Hawaiian Island Tour.
I might do the Med Cruise if they have a good single rate.

So for my big 55 next July 6th, I would like to enjoy it on Cruise. But not on Carnival or Royal Caribbean nor the Caribbean Islands. I am part Hawaiian but have never done any Pacific Island Cruise or Med Cruise. Anyone suggestions?

I have 28 Cruises with Carnival, and also a Platinum with Royal Caribbean. I have not sail on the other Cruise Lines YET!!!.

Deb, I go to school full time, and in my senior year on my 2nd Degree. Lots of Cruises and all inclusive vacations in the past 3 years. I might go back to work after July, (maybe).

Not quite 55 yet !!!Next July:. But I retired almost 3 years ago from the Army after 30 years. :D

I am not 55 yet, close, but I have been on over 30 cruises. Being single, I travel solo. I have met a few people from the singles group on cruises, to me it is not worth the extra $200 + bucks to be with the group. You can have all the fun and make friends, the ship is yours for the duration of the cruise.:)
Anyone close to retirement? / when do you start counting the days?

A friend of mine retired from the Military after 22 years, so he is getting a military retirement. He then retired again from civil service, so now he gets 2 retirement when he was 62. But if he went back to work before age 66, he would end up paying out half of his paycheck. After age 66 he will take home about 2/3 of his paycheck, but if he work part time and make less than $20,000.00 a year part time, he take home more than he would if it was full time.
I am only posting about what I KNOW for a fact, and not what I THINK I know.
