I was on the Carnival Fascination and was so impressed when the Breakaway pulled in next to us. What a beautiful ship. Our comedian joked that it was like a Hummer parking next to a Ford Fiesta. Anyway, I am going to pose this question another way to see if I can get an answer as to where people would take children in Nassau in the dark of the night!
Ok that I can't answer we sent our kids to Splash Academy and thought we would walk around town, hope you get your answer. Breakaway is a nice ship it was fun pulling in and everyone was yelling back and forth. :)

We were in Nassau on Oct. 30th (different ship) and the beautiful Breakaway docked next to us in the early evening. Passengers started to debark at about 7:30 or so and I was wondering where they were headed in the dark in Nassau?? Of course, there is Senor Frogs close by, but; we saw families pushing little ones in strollers. Really, really curious about this.
Nobody told us the town was closed down at night;:mad: I really don't like the condition of Nassau Bahamas’.:eek: They need to clean up the area. Not a place to visit at night, nothing is open...
NCL needs to create a new itinerary because the Cape Canaveral, Great Stirrup Cay and Nassau Bahamas’ is really lame anymore. I wonder how many times passengers get or should I say don't get to Great Stirrup Cay.
Which ship did you sail on.

Everyone is saying 9 and 12 are the largest. 13 is the smallest. All seem fine, compared to the rest of the ship. Lol

So how many of the S6 guest are going to have breakfast, lunch or dinner on the balcony. I'm thinking I want to try all. The more pictures I see the happier I get about the S6 suites and the huge balconies.....Every Enjoy:D:D:D:D

The fun begins when you check in, you get escorted to the ship as a group. Everyone goes up to the Haven, we ditched and left to walk around the ship. The aft facing suites are really nice. We had the 12th floor so had huge balcony. The Bathroom is just stunning. The Lavazza coffee machine is good (bought one when we got home). Make sure you get the French pressed coffee. One of my most favorite things to do was go up to the Haven in the morning and sit at the first table when walking into pool area next to the stairs. It was so peaceful I will never forget that part of the trip. Get your bathing suit on, enjoy the fact that you can swim if it 30-40 degree's outside. Enjoy the Haven area because the rest of the ship is to crowded for my taste. We loved the ship the room was great, kids had fun stuff to do. Not sure if it has changed any but the food to me was not good. I will probably never travel on NCL ever again because the Itinerary to Florida, Nassau and Private Island. Twice I sailed on NCL 5 years apart and both times weren't able to get off the ship at the island. Totally disappointed with those things. Maybe I'm just being picky, sorry enjoy your trip.
