  1. Back in September when we booked for the February 2nd cruise, I researched and carefully selected balcony cabin 7423 on Empress Deck (best deck). When they switched from the Liberty to the Valor, they moved us to cabin 6408 on the Upper Dec (worst deck). I've called and the ship is sold out, so they can't move us (if they even would) and they refuse to do anything to compensate for the change (even though they charge to select a cabin instead of being assigned randomly). Our travel agent won't do anything either, since it was out of their control. They suggested checking with customer service when we get on board and that they may give us on-board credit. I've been ticked off about it, though, and don't want to continue to be ticked off if there's no chance they'll do anything. I've never been on a Carnival cruise before (have been on NCL, Holland, Princess, and Royal), but I've heard their customer service isn't good. Thoughts???? Should I just let it go? Is the Upper Deck really that much louder? Is the concierge service on the Empress really that much better?

    Thanks!!!
