The horseback riding is at Seaside Nature Park though the ship photos by their photographer $40 per group we were 2 you can look at them before purchasing about a 1 hour ride. They have at least 20 horses take you in groups of about 8 or less. Several minutes in the ocean. The trails are rocky and go up and down and over 200 lbs they won’t let ride. There’s a pig peacocks chickens ducks and other fowl.
Thank you!! I reached out to them directly to book a private ridd...hopefully they will have space with all the cruise ship passengers! What did it cost on the ship? It is a $100 per person for a private ride....

We walked all around that area on embarkation day and it was empty. If you checkin early (9:30) and get an early boarding pass, or are high latitudes level, you should be fine.
Great! That's the plan, sounds like it's doable...just made Platinum, so I believe we get priority boarding...just need to remember to pack bathing suits in carry on 🙂

Could you possibly tell me how quickly the infinity pool areas fill up? Going on Viva on Jan 7th from PR, and plan to use boarding day as my "sea day" and hang out by an infinity pool if possible. Thank you!

3 years ago, I had a similiar experience with NCL. The price quoted by the NCL rep, when making a change on a cruise during the call was not what my invoice stated. They forgot to include the FAS charges after specifically responding to my question during the call that they were included. I called back and asked to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor returned my call and after explaining the situation, he was able to review the conversation (all calls are recorded). It took several days but I did indeed receive a phone call back and the correct price that was originally quoted to me was granted. Perhaps try this route? Good luck and enjoy your cruise regardless of the outcome!

I don't have a current one yet, but come Saturday I'll start seeing them in my state room. Follow along here as I'll be posting dailies here:
I'll be attempting to upload them daily, but I'm not sure how successful I'll be.
Thank you so much!!! Grateful!

Hi,
I am wondering if anyone has a recent copy of the Getaway Dailies they could share?
Thank you!

I gave a cruise once and created a puzzle with pictures that had to be figured out. It was lots of fun! Put it in a small box, then several larger boxes. It takes time to open the boxes down to the smallest one and then time to figure out the picture puzzle! Makes it so much more than a quick rip and done

We are to sail on the Epic next week on January 2nd....Ports of Call were to be St. Lucia, St.Kitts, Aruba and Curacao....any news about why Epic canceled some of their ports this week? Is it due to ships COVID-19 numbers, or Port changes? Are there any ports open to Cruisers left in Southern Carribean currently?
Thanks!

If this question has been asked before, I apologize in advance.
I am sailing on Norwegian Breakaway this October 9th. Included in my package is specialty dining total of 4 meals. I have used one specialty dining option as the Cirque show and paid the $11.00 per person upcharge.
I have four other reservations, Cagneys, Le Bistro, Teppanyaki and Moderno. I want to make sure I use my specialty dining for Cagney's as it is a high charge ala carte menu, Le Bistro and Teppanyaki. I want to pay out of pocket for the set price for Moderno.
Will they allow me to pick which restaurant that I want to pay out of pocket for as I am exceeding my specialty dining by one reservation? I have done specialty dining many times in the past, either in the days when it was every meal or I did not exceed the amount of specialty dining meals, but never as listed above.
Thanks!

Fantastic tour...just did this one in February with Levi....too bad the hot springs have been destroyed...really enjoyed this...On our tour, there was so much rain we could not do the swim to the waterfalls...the day was fantastic anyway and Levi was very kind...We will be on this cruise as well...now I am trying to figure out what to do this day in port...Enjoy!

If you are looking for something relaxing that involves swimming, I would suggest Palms Court Gardens...it's just a few minute taxi ride from the port...we typically walk to it...It is a beautiful garden that has an infinity pool from which you can see over the port and your ship while you are in the pool. I believe the entry fee is $10.00 per person and you can purchase drinks and food there as well. They have a small gift shop with handmade quality items to peruse through....It is nice to be able to see the ocean, but take a break from the beaches....I have been there three times and still am not tired of it...It's a very relaxing place...crew favorite...I hate to talk about it, as I fear too many people will start to visit.

Heading off to the Getaway in two weeks!!! Thanks for taking the time to post this information!!

We cruised last year in October. The embarkation and debarkation day people seemed to be wearing more fall like clothes...but as we headed to Bermuda and the temp warmed up the clothing styles changed as well...right into summer types of clothes and styles...Enjoy your cruise!!

Congrats!! It's so much fun to win!! We won the free cruise raffle last October on the Dawn and will be taking our free cruise on the Getaway in 19 days!!! In our case, it was ironic, people came up with hands full of raffle tickets and we only had one strip of tickets to put in...proves you never know!!

Thank you for all the replies! I am thinking that Go Airport is the best option!

Hi,
My husband and I are arriving at 8:30 pm on a Friday into Fort Lauderdale Airport and am looking for an alternative to a cab for transportation to our hotel, the JW Marriott on Brickell Ave. in downtown Miami.
It appears most of the transportation companies don't do later evening trips....any suggestions would be welcomed!
Thanks in advance!
