Sorry to revive this but I wanted to know how he did. My dad has agreed to come on a Carnival cruise with me this year. He's a 70 year old Vietnam veteran that spent 40+ years driving a semi truck to cope with his PTSD. My mom passed away last October and he told me he wanted to go because she always wanted to. So of course, we are a bit concerned! How was the muster drill? Did you guys do okay at embarkation?

This is something I think my wife and I were concerned about. We live in the South and are used to getting funny looks and being denied service. We're normal looking girls, one slightly more masculine than the other but we still get snotty people from time to time.

We're going on our first Carnival cruise in two weeks. I'm feeling encouraged!

My wife and I are going to go on our first cruise this year. We are doing Carnival Fascination out of Jacksonville in November. I've searched the G&L Roll Call boards for any other gay people on the boat that week and nothing turned up. :(
