  1. My documents indicate a 3:15 pm boarding time for our Canada/New England cruise in September from Brooklyn. We will be dropped off by a relative around 11:00 - 12:00 that morning. We will have to wait until 3:15 to actually board???

  2. I'll try to answer your questions as accurately as possible!

As far as luggage valet - if you mean at the port, yes the porters were there as soon as we drove up and were very friendly and helped us tremendously especially since we were a group of all women and had some heavy bags!!!

We ate dinner in the MDR each night at early seating. Next time we may choose MTD. Early is a little early and late is too late - so we'll give that a try. I'm not sure about the same selections being in the WJ at dinner.

Nassau was not too crowded however there was only one other ship there that day. This was my first time to Nassau and probably the last. I was not impressed at all and quite honestly did not feel safe walking around in the Straw Market. We took the Glass Bottom Boat Tour which we thoroughly enjoyed that tour and would recommend it. After just a few minutes in the straw market some of us choose to return to the ship and just enjoy the peace and quiet with most passengers on shore!

Embarkation in Port Canaveral was the quickest and most pleasant I have ever experienced. We parked right at the port. It was a little more expensive but definitely worth it. Drove into the port (we stayed at the Residence Inn) around 10:00 and was on the ship by 11:05!!! I am Platinum Crown and Anchor - no one else in my group was a Crown and Anchor Member so I was prepared to not be able to do priority check in. When we got there a man asked were we C & A - I told him I was but not the rest of the group and he said that's ok - we breezed right through!! Amazing!

Debarkation - we were off the ship by 9:30, got our luggage, loaded up and were on our way home by 10:30!!

CocoaCay was awesome!!! Wonderful beach day - very relaxing. We were the only ship there that day which probably made it a little more relaxing. If you can rent one of the Cabanas do so!! We couldn't b/c we had a group of 7 - you can only have 6 but would have loved to. The bbq lunch was a little much as far as the crowd but we just decided to wait and not fight the crowd so we ate a little later. one word of advice - watch the seagulls!! they will swoop down and steal your food right out of your hand! One stole my chicken!! Scared me to death - and i had the plate right beside me on my chair!

I was in cabin 8572 - I have sailed on Enchantment one time before in the same cabin. great location except that you do hear the noise from the pool deck above.

hope that helps - let me know if you have any more questions!!

  3. Just returned from this wonderful "too short" of a cruise on Enchantment. I don't have time to do a review but if anyone has questions I will be glad to answer. Overall, everything was awesome! This was my second cruise on Enchantment and enjoyed it as much as the first time.

  4. i know this has been discussed before but can't find a thread on it now. does anyone know at what point the tower on the ship takes over for phone calls?? Verizon has told me not to even use my phone at the port before we board!! Others have said you can use it as long as the ship is in port here in the US....

  5. Do they specifcally call for anyone who wants to walk off to go at a certain time?? if so, what if you miss that time? can you walk off at any time?? There will be 7 women in our group so getting us together will be a task! I'm ussually the one to give everyone instructions so I want to be clear on what needs to be done!
