  1. I flew on TAP for the first time last year in economy from Barcelona. It was fine but as mentioned above, the seats were a bit uncomfortable after a while. I would fly them again.

  2. I was in a studio on a transatlantic. I did not see "young" people. At 50+, I felt like I was one of the youngest people in the studios. I was often in the lounge reading and there were many times when I was there by myself. I did not get up or leave when men came in -- even the quirky looking ones. Enjoy yourself. I did.

  3. We've been there twice with day passes and would go again. We arrive early to get the buffet breakfast and leave after enjoying the buffet lunch. The food is really good. We usually hang out by the pool but the beach is at the bottom of some steps and there's a shower to get the sand off.

  4. ... do you guys know that 99% of the visitors use the city's excellent network of inexpensive public transportation for transfers to/from the port and the airport? Just saying. If anyone is interested do ask.

How would I get from port to Barcelona Fira hotel? I know there is a metro stop outside the hotel but I don't remember the line to get there. I also did not know that there was a metro at the port. Thanks

  5. I have booked vegaluna for next week it's 15 euro per sunbed but you also have to eat lunch there not sure what it includes but sunbed parasol wifi and kids swings

    So how was it?

  6. We usually go to Rui. We get there early enough to have breakfast and leave after lunch. The food is included with the day pass as well as the beverages. The food is really good and is a nice break from the ship food. We generally hang out by the pool and there are umbrellas for shade.

  7. We were at the Marriott last week. It was not crowded at all. Be aware that food is expensive. We paid $57 for lunch for three people and that included one person who just got fries and a drink. Also, they do not accept cash so make sure you have a debit or credit card.

  8. Thanks for the replies. I am disappointed as I was looking forward to it. The first time I had it was on NCL and had it every morning. Had every morning on Celebrity too. I'll just have to find another "must have every morning" favorite.:D

  9. We took our first NCL cruise last June and since we were celebrating my milestone birthday, I decided that we should stay in a suite. It was great. We often had the courtyard to ourselves so it was very relaxing. Breakfast in Cagneys was good--could not get enough of the muesli. Our next cruise will be in 2015 but I don't want to sail on NCL if I'm not in a suite. :)
