    We all booked through the same travel agent.  It is a very large agency we have used numerous times.  They tried to appeal the cancellation, but were not successful. 

     

    Celebrity has "kindly" offered us the same cancellation options.

  2. We are one of 3 couples traveling together who all booked balcony cabins and had our reservations linked.  This reservation was part of a B2B2B.  One couple was notified of their cancellation last week, and one just found out today.  So the cancellations are not over.

We were booked on the Crown Princess Transatlantic cruise scheduled to leave March 26th.  We chose Option #2.  Our 50% FCCs were posted to our Princess account on April 21st, and Princess decided to send us an email about them yesterday.  Today I was pleasantly surprised that we finally received our full refund for cruise fare, taxes and fees, and EZAir on our Costco credit card.  The refund was dated May 29th, but was not there when I checked yesterday.

    I check every day but still no refund.  Happy for you and keeping our fingers crossed that we will see our refund soon.

    We were scheduled for the March 26th Crown Princess transatlantic cruise.  We selected Option 2 on March 13th and are still waiting for our money to be returned to our credit card for our cruise, taxes and fees, and EZ Air fare from Barcelona to Miami.  We are lucky that we live near Ft. Lauderdale so we only needed one way air fare.  We received our FCC on April 21st for 50% of the price of the cruise.  We went to file a dispute with our Costco Citibank credit card but was told since we made our initial deposit in July we were still covered by their trip cancellation insurance that Citibank discontinued in September.  We filed a claim with them and have submitted all of the paperwork they asked for and are still awaiting our refund.  We are very disappointed with Princess and the way they have handled this.  If we use our FCCs it will be on a last minute cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale to the Caribbean.

My husband and I booked a tour with Blexie tours and had Rosio as our guide last week.  She was fantastic.  Her English was perfect.  And she was able to customize our itinerary to the stops that we requested to see.  We highly recommend Blexie tours to everyone.  You will not be disappointed.
