Have you called Royal to check. The way their website has been lately I'm not sure that I would rely on it being 100% accurate.
Other websites say the same thing..

Thanks for the info, everyone. At this point, every time I check, it's says there are no rooms available for 4 passengers. I'll keep looking...maybe near final payment some people will cancel and I can make the switch.

Hello! We're going on a holiday cruise with extended family and one of members of our group booked all of our cabins. I don't love the cabin we got (all the way forward, possibly by an anchor based on reviews I've read) so I'd like to switch to another one within the same category, if possible.
The issue is that they currently don't have any cabins available for 4 people. What is the best way (if any) to track if a cabin opens up? I can obsessively check Royal's website, but I'm hoping for a better way.
Thanks!

I actually called C&A this morning with this question, specifically about dining. She told me they typically open reservations 60-90 days before sailing. Sounds like it varies beyond that, but it's good to know I still have time because mine is about 150 days out.

We just got back from a cruise on IOS with 2 kids. We left the boxes unchecked on the online check-in. When we were at the port, the agent confirmed that we didn't want them to be able to charge to their seapasses. That was that!

We have 2 kids - 6 and 8 - and we are booked for their 2nd cruise next month. When we budget for our cruises, we include the suggested gratuity as part of the cost of the vacation, so it's no surprise. We will tip at least that amount, and will add more for exceptional service. The crew works just as hard for our kids as they do for us.
Not to mention, the kids take up 2 spots that cannot be sold to adults who would, in theory, pay the full gratuity. They can only have a certain number of passengers on board, whether they are 1 year old or 100 years old.

As a fellow amateur foodie, I appreciate this guide! Food options always take center stage when we plan our vacations, so it sounds like Oasis (or Allure) will be right up our alley. I can't wait to hear more!
My husband doesn't drink alcohol at all, and I'm not a big wine drinker. Unfortunately, I think that means that the Chef's Table wouldn't make sense for us. It's a shame because the menu and service sound wonderful. Luckily, it seems that there are plenty of other options for us.

Anyone recently cruised on the Vision of the Seas recently?

We were on Vision a few weeks ago and there was a wall dispenser (shampoo/body wash?) plus bar soap.
We had a great time! It was the smallest and oldest ship we'd been on so I was a little nervous, but we always had plenty to do, and the crew was wonderful.
