My husband signed up even after the first class had taken place..... as the artist was there and the studio was open and we were on our way back to our room....Hubby saw the open door and was curios and went in to speak to the instructor and signed up then.....The problem that we encountered (and not certain if this is the case with ALL of the artists in residence) but it was more of an entire course of lessons and you were expected to go to al 7 or so of them.  It worked out fine for sea days but sort of put a damper on others when having to factor in the class times when scheduling shore excursions, etc....Again, not sure if this was just this one particular artist or not.

I've signed up for art classes on 3 different cruises. It all depends on the artist . You can sign up about 5:00Pm when they have an open house. One time I did one class where we did colored pencil. In December, I signed up for one class for acrylic pouring and in April for a transatlantic, we actually had a 6 or 7 day course on the human body. It was a bit too intense and long.

In my reading it seems that classes re limited to 15 people and one needs to sign up. I am in a category with Noon boarding. Where do I go to sign up as soon as I board.  Does anyone one sign up for all classes or can one sign up for those of most interest.

  2. Spent 2 weeks on Marina in December and 3 weeks in April. Go to the Artist's Loft on the 1st day to sign up. In December they had 2 artists. I did one pouring class. In April a Cuban artists had a series of drawing classes for the human body. One series for the head, one for the body. One sea days, they had line dance classes. Other activities were bingo, trivia, ping pong, miniature golf, lectures, and more.

Yes we have a final printed copy and we tried calling and emailing the accounting department.

  4. My travel agent just called Oceania about our flights for a cruise 126 days from now. They said the flight department is swamped and 2 weeks behind, so we can't speak with them. Does anyone know if we can cancel our flights for an August cruise and still receive a credit? We haven't been ticketed yet, but can't get any answers about going a day early. I have learned a lesson! Never again will I book air through a cruise line.

I just need a one-way return from Rome in April, and business class on my own was going to be $4,876! Was able to get it through Oceania for the $175 air deviation fee and $500 fare difference - plus the $1,899 I had already paid for restricted business class - so total of $2,574 thorough Oceania for a direct, non-stop flight from Rome to Charlotte on my preferred airline. Saves me $2,302, and they also include my transfer from ship to airport. Just think it pays to do your own research rather than assuming you can get better or cheaper flights on your own.

We currently have a premium economy flight from Rome to Chicago, Chicago to Charlotte with Oceania's air.  If we try to get a non stop either business or premium economy, do we pay the deviation fee even if they can't make our desired changes at a reasonable cost? Do you have the name of the person who helped you with the flight arrangements?  Thank you!

So  are you saying if you run out before the week is up you are not given another bottle??

On the December  4, 2022  cruise, when we ran low on conditioner, they brought us 2 more bottles each of shampoo, condition and lotion.

  7. Just off the Marina after 2 weeks in the Caribbean. The carpets and furniture looked in great shape. We were on deck 9. The food in the specialty restaurants was excellent. A little disappointed in some of the choices in the Main Dining Room and on 12. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The worst part was the very long lines to board and disembark the ship.  The wifi needs a lot of help and the electrical outlets need updating.  Entertainment: A couple of the singers need to be replaced. The best was the lead singer in the Sync Band. Dancers were good. Could have had more variety of activities in the afternoons and on sea days. Every day was pretty much the same. We are scheduled on Marina in April for a 21 day transatlantic, so I hope to see some improvement.
