Traveling June 24th on Divina. First time on a MSC cruise. Have only done Carnival up to now. Being a non drinker I don't think the Fantistica (sp?) is worth it for me. Not going to pay $5 for a coke or coffee. So what can you drink for free? Are there drink stations like on Carnival? I saw someone say they won't even give you tap water at dinner?? Thanks for any info and please if you have any recommendations on any subject involving this ship please feel free to help. Thanks Again.:D

Thanks again Mike for the review, pictures and answers! I couldn't resist checking one last time before heading to the airport to get my Breeze on tomorrow. Now I have answers for my 13 other fellow Breezers going with me. Now I can sort of be the answer guy!:D

Here is an embarrassing video of me trying to dive like the girls.

Brave admission Mike. We would of never known your intentions. I hope I can get the hang of it with my action cam next week without dropping it into the abyss. Thanks again for getting me even more psyched! Just over 4 days to go! Yee haa!

Will be doing the power snorkel one week from tomorrow! Can't wait! Are there lockers to stow your stuff in?

Don't suppose there was any information on the Breeze about their FunPhone app they were Beta testing earlier this year. From what I hear it could be very helpful on the cruise.
Waiting for pic of the water being dumped on that guy!!! hehe

I initially misunderstood your question, I thought you were talking about entrees when you clearly said sides. Not to be confused with appetizer and salads, sides are baked potato, mash, veggies, mushrooms, etc. Yes, you can order several sides and sauces.
Thanks Mike!

When I saile on the Pride in 2011, The surf and turf has a smaller 6 oz filet. You can't order unlimited sides, but you are free to miz and match the sides, so instead of getting one each of appetizer, salad and desert, you can have three appetizers (or three deserts) if you prefer.
Thanks! :)

Tracy had the Maine Lobster Ravioli
I decided to try the Surf & Turf for the first time. It was the best meal I ever had on a cruise ship.
I ordered both the wild mushroom and the béarnaise sauces. For my sides I had the Yukon Gold Mash with Wasabi Horseradish and the Sautéed Medley of Fresh Mushrooms.
All together
As usual we always order the Cheesecake with Hazelnut Biscuit.

You sir should get a kickback from Carnival. If we were not already going, you would of sold us with just this first day review. Could you answer me 2 questions involving the steakhouse? In the Surf and Turf do you get the same 9 oz Filet they offer separately? And for the sides, ordering more than one. Is it included or is there additional charges for getting more than one? Thanks in advance.

Awesome reviews Mike. Can't wait to see the rest of your Breeze review as we are leaving on it in 17 days.:D

Of the three ports you're visiting, the easiest would be to buy a bottle at the main shop in Grand Turk that you need to walk through to get to anywhere you want to go. They have a good selection. I would research on the ship to give you an idea as to what is available and what they charge on the ship and then compare with what they have in the store on Grand Turk. A good Chardonnay is always a safe bet for a gift since some people do not like reds.
My main concern is to find a good wine that they wouldn't find here. Do you you know if Grand Turk has its own wineries that would have wine at the Grand Shop. Don't want to buy a bottle of something there and transport all the way back to the states a bottle of something they can buy down the street.

A little off subject but maybe someone can give me their 2 cents worth. We are doing the 6 day cruise stopping in Jamaica, Nassau and Grand Turk. In one of our stops I want to pick up a good bottle of wine for a present for a relative. Heres the problem I have NO Wine knowledge at all, so does anyone have any recommendations for something special at one of the stops? Thanks in advance.

yes they have fridges in all the cabins on the Breeze - however they are not as cold as your fridge back home - so may not be suitable for all medications - you may have to find out temps for meds and see if they need to be stored elsewhere?
Thanks. I believe they should be fine if under 50f.
Any critiques on the Seadogs hotdogs? This place seems to not get any attention.

Sorry if this is a repeat in this discussion, but in my search I have come across two answers. We have a inner cabin on Riviera Deck. Do they have refrigerators? I have come across people saying all cabins have them and some saying they didn't have one. Need to know for one of our group must refrigerate their medications. Thanks.

Just joined Cruise Critic today and yours is the first thread I have read. So much more liking these forums compared to Carnival's own. Due pretty much to your excellent postings and pictures. Thank you so much for posting. I am so geeked about our cruise in November now. Normally I wouldnt want to rush summer to come and go but now its hard not to thanks to you. lol:D
Hope everything is ok with your family.
What is included drink wise? Without the Fantistica .
