  1. Our door on the Carnival Paradise...
Oh I love this! I would definitely steal it for my upcoming Paradise cruise but I am not this creative to put this together lol.

I do however like the idea of a door decoration this time around. We will be traveling with my 9-year old nephew for the first time and this would probably help him out.

  2.

I thought it was me...I was going to go back at the end and go through it all very slowly! I am also very thankful for thois review and the Fun Times postings!! We just booked this cruise for June 1st and are very excited! We have 3 cabins! We are going with our 2 adult children and their spouses! I have been quite ill and really needed a get away! And we are taking this as our last "family" cruise, as our children are both now adults and will soon be starting families of their own!

I have to get out my "cruise calendar" and go over the Fun Times and pinpoint some of the "must do" things!:D

LOL. I just went back searching through too. Something today me to check the thread to see if someone else mentioned it. Understand though why you didn't post it.
  3. I read the entire thread too... Then of course I had to google the odds of dying on a cruise ship and ship dangers... I discovered its mostly younger drunk people or people who are elderly. I am only 27 and don't drink much so may the odds be in my favor.. :D
Haha. Well thanks for doing the google work for me. I am 29 and barely drink so those odds are ok for me. I am though more afraid of the people around me dying than I am for myself. LOL.
  4. IDK why I just read this entire thread and temporarily ruined my excitement of my upcoming cruise. I am not a fan at all of being anywhere near where dead people are or where they died. Heck, my grandmother that I loved very much passed in my mom's house and two years later I still don't like staying there.

  5. I think the OP has a right to be pissed. Yes, it goes to charity but that's what the inflated cruise price is for too. If she paid extra for a service, then she has a right to have that service. If she just wanted to give $$$ to the charity, then she would have done that directly. Not pay for a service and then not get it. I agree though that you should first seek out someone that was in charge and find out what they can do. I personally believe that you should get all that extra money back. At the end of the day, you were not provided with a service that you paid for and just like anything else in the world, you have a right to a refund if that is the case, charity or not.

  6. Shatima - I have done the "neighborhood awards" a few years and had a very good time. If you go, definitely stay at The Hotel. Less crowded and beautiful suites.
I took my sister to the Hoodie Awards a few years back as a surprise for her 21st birthday. I'm only a few years older than her but we had a great time!! The prices were definitely A LOT cheaper than this and that includes lots of concerts but no food of course.
