Hi Anni,
I came back from my cruise to the Baltics. It was a great trip! I used the information you provided on your website and they were very helpful. Thank you very much!
Just one thing I wanted to clarify:
When taking the train from Warnemunde to Rostock and change from train to tram at Marienehe, should turn right (not left) down the slope to the tram platform.
We have enjoyed both Rostock and Warnemunde completely!
Cheers,
Clara

Hi Clara, .
Schwerin is a lovely town situated on several lakes with a Schloss which has some beautifully restored rooms open to the public, nice architecture and a good modern shopping centre. However, to get there means an extra 2 hours travel, 1 hr each way. A good web site to give you an idea of the town is
or there is a page on my web site.
Rostock is more Medieval with ancients walls and gates, the centre of the town is a pedestrian precinct with good shops, cafes and restaurants.
Warnemünde is a typical, N. German seaside town with a great beach, bustling harbour and plenty of good places to sit and relax over a meal or a drink.
They all have a different appeal so it is a matter of personal choice really
Happy cruising :)
Anni

Hi Anni,
I see that you are giving out great advice...I have a quick one - is Schwerin worth a visit? Should we spend more time and relax in Rostock and Warnemunde instead?
Thanks,
Clara
