It is hard sometimes but not many teams can say that they have waited 106 years to win the World Series. If they ever do win another World Series I won't want to be any where near Chicago :eek: :p

We had a balcony on Lido on the Sunshine in February. The location was great. Loved the convenience and being close to everything.

We were in 9192 which is right off of the atrium overlooking the bar down below. We were close to the elevators too but couldn't hear any noise from them. My only complaint about noise was when there was a DJ playing in the Atrium bar one night. It sounds like he was setup outside my door because of the way the sound traveled up through open area of the ship. It was loud and went on until 12:30 or 1:00 am.

My God the Yankees fans swarming us....you guys are like those pesky flies that just won't go away....haha.

I'll rally with you as a fellow Cubs fan. Can't help it...it's in my family blood line. Grandpa was a diehard. Must carry on no matter how painful :D

I was on the Sunshine during the week of 2/9. My husband and I spent all of our time on the Serenity decks. Never once saw any kids and rarely saw an empty chair. It is noisy on the lower Serenity decks close to the pool. The upper Serenity deck has a bar and be prepared to be blown away...literally. It was pretty windy up there so you really couldn't hear much noise from the main pool.

Had a great trip and it was our first cruise ever.

I had protein bars in my carryon. No problem at all.

Thanks so much for doing this review. I have had about enough of the cold and snow this winter. You guys are getting a lot more than we are in central Illinois. We have crazy wind right now with some snow coming tonight.

I have a couple of questions for you. Wondering which nights are formal nights? We will probably avoid them like the plague :D. I'm not a dress up girl and we are on vacation. Also, did you use the ships wifi? If you did, is it sucky slow and expensive?

Glad to hear you got the heat back on last night. It was just nasty. It's a balmy -3 down the road in Springfield, IL this morning. :D

Enjoying your review as usual and looking forward to your Sunshine review. We have a huge group heading out on Feb. 9th. After this last couple of days, I am ready now! We are cruise virgins so we are really excited.
