We used Mobile Passport in Terminal 29 yesterday. My parents got in the regular line and we got in the mobile passport line. Both lines had the same amount of people in them. My parents were done about 5 minutes before me.
There was only one Mobile Passport person and it took forever to scan each person from my phone. After scanning you had to wait 15-20 seconds for the system to process the person, then you moved on to the next person. In addition, you still needed to show your passports to the agent.
I'm not sure how this would save time at all. My parents gave the agent their passport and customs form and he glanced at both and they were on their way. They both passed through in the time it took them to just process me.
Royal Caribbean was pushing the App hard. They had announcements and even a flyer in the room one night. They boasted it would be faster. Nope!
Unless the Mobile Passport line is much, MUCH shorter, take the normal line.

Thanks Kinny. I appreciate all the info, especially the Cruise Compasses!

Well, it's official. The Eastern itinerary has been changed for this week.
Nassau is from 7am until 12:30.
St. Thomas is 11:30 until 6:30.
No official word on why.

Great review!
I'm curious about the ship time. Does the ship switch to local times or stay on Eastern time? I'm going in a few weeks and was going to meet someone in St. Thomas. The ship is supposed to be there at 10am, but I'm not sure if that's EDT or local time.
Thanks! Can't wait to read the rest of your review.

Just curious. I've heard that sometimes the ships out of NJ sail by the Statue of Liberty. Did the Adventure do that this summer? We're on a sailing later in July and was hoping it would.
