Thanks. It was not well advertised on the Vista, but I sure enjoyed having the place to myself.  It was tucked around a corner so you did not even see the buffet when you walked by.

Thanks.  I'll check the first day just to see.  It was not well known on the Vista and I enjoyed having the place to myself.

I'm on the dream now, i don't think they have any food service in ocean plaza.

  3. I have been to Roatan multiple times and have gone to West Bay Beach for snorkeling.  This cruise, we are traveling with non-swimmers and one who has limited mobility who still enjoy the beach.  I have narrowed it down to Bananarama resort at West Bay Beach because the Thirsty Turtle is right  there for lunch so limited walking for my sister-in-law's mom.  Also, Little French Key as there appears to be plenty of shade for both moms and water activities for my sister in law and I.  Thirdly, Paradise beach for the same reasons as above.  It has to be a beach that offers multiple lunch options as my mom is limited to burgers, pizza, fried ship, etc., no type of ethnic food at all.  If anyone has any insight on which is best for us this trip, I would greatly appreciate it.

  4. Thank you.  I contacted them directly through email and got the response that they were not offered.  Your link shows it includes snorkel rental for $15 for the entire day.  Bananarama offers snorkel gear for only two hours.  The pool looks great at Infinity in case we get tired of the vendors on the beach.

  5. I have been to Bananarama before and this trip I am trying to decide between Bananarama, Infinity Bay or Paradise for a day pass.  Looking for a chair and snorkel equipment.  Does anyone have experience with these resorts and which may be the best for our group who will want to snorkel, have lunch, get some some and have some great beach drinks.  Not looking for all inclusive just a great resort that might not be terribly overcrowded although I know that Tabaiana is nearby and is what the ships use for their excursions.

  6. I've done cave tubing many years ago but I am returning to Belize on a cruise with my two daughters and one of their friends (all adult age and college grad gift) and they would like to do experience cave tubing.  Which company is better Buttsup or BZ or possibly someone else I have not found yet?  Can't remember who we used last time.  Last time, we got to go through a third cave away from the crowds coming in on buses so it was a little more personalized and a longer tubing trip.  I would appreciate any help from anyone who has experience with these companies or others that might be a good fit for us.

  7. It appears late dining is waitlisted, but we had decided to stay with YTD this cruise anyway.  This past January, we did not eat in he dining one or two nights on our 5 night cruise.  Hopefully, wait times will not be 1.5 hours as I have heard they can be on the Vista.  Thanks everybody.

  8. My husband and I have always booked late dining which works really well for us.  However, for an upcoming cruise, my PVP automatically booked YTD for myself, my two daughter's and one of their friends.  I am curious to know what activities we will miss if I switch to late dining.  I am cruising with two 22 year olds who love activities and do not want to miss anything.    I'm not even sure if late dining is possible as we booked late for an August cruise.  I cannot find the 7 night Vista fun times in a font large enough to read :) Does anyone know what activities are on the vista between 8 and 10:30 p.m. that might be missed with late dining?  My husband and I are not "show" people, but my daughter always participates in karaoke, games, scavenger hunts, shows, and night club, but I hate to do YTD and get stuck with an hour wait.  Help!!

  9. We just cruised Triumph January 6th and had a fantastic cruise. Compared to the Splendor and Elation, we found the "entertainment areas" to be much better on this ship. Our 20 year old enjoyed the dance club until the wee hours every morning, there were people in the piano bar and most of the clubs/lounges we went into and were able to find live music to listen to after late dinner. The late night comedy shows were fantastic. We have taken multiple cruises where the ship seems to shut down after late dinner - closed or empty dance clubs and bars, etc., so we highly enjoyed this trip and have this same cruise booked for next January with eight other couples.

  10. We were there this past Tuesday, 1/9/18 and went to Dzibalchaltun and swam in the cenote. We got off the ship too late to go to the cave cenotes, but we really enjoyed our day here. The cenote was clear. We even had time to go to the café, order tamales (not what we have back home) and grab a couple of beers. We felt it was a great day. We took the free shuttle and booked with Auto Progreso at the end of the pier when we got off the shuttle.

  11. I served on a grand jury. We met one day a week for eight weeks. We sometimes heard 120+ cases in a day. Police officer, sheriff, drug agent, etc., read the police report and we were allowed to ask questions. When the officer, etc., left the room, we voted to either send to trial or dismiss. During my time in grand jury - we dismissed only one or two cases. There's really no discussion, just voting and majority rules. Hope that clarifies. I personally found serving on grand jury very interesting.

  12. Bump - 6 cabins is the minimum for group sales. You definitely need to look at that.

We booked over six months ago so I'm fuzzy on the details, but I believe we did not book a group rate because our PVP told us they would not honor the sale price, upgrades and half price deposit on the group site and it would cost more. Five of the couples are first time cruisers and we were trying to keep the cost down for them. Maybe I should check into it now.

  13. We booked a cruise in January 2019 out of Mobile and ended up booking nine cabins for friends and friends of friends from all over the US. Three days ago, I got an email stating ship is going into dry dock and contact my PVP. He was out of the office until that night so I started looking myself and found the same itinerary out of NOLA a week later for about the same price and I even located nine cabins in a row. My PVP called that night and said he sent the info to his manager and was working on it. That is where everything has stalled. My issue is the upper deck on the Fantasy is between two decks with cabins. We booked when free upgrades were going on. If we get moved to Upper deck on Triumph, we are above the casino, dance club or show lounge. Is it unreasonable for us to be asked to be moved up one deck so we are between cabins again (comparable to what we originally booked) for the same price we booked for? Also, instead of the $25 per person on board credit we have, would it be wrong to try to get more since I've done a lot of the leg work search cruises, etc? Looking for opinions as I wait for my PVP to get back with me.

  14. I just read about the self-serve beer stations on board. I've never seen this on board as much as I have cruised. I read it was a 14 ounce pour, but I've not seen a price listed. Does anyone know how much this is - trying to compare to cost of a single bottle or a bucket of beer.
