    Eagle Beach and Amsterdam Manor Beach Bar - Vs. Reflexions Beach Club

    We are looking to take a taxi from the port to Eagle Beach in December 2023 traveling on RCI.  How far is the taxi ride from the port ?

     

     I also understand that you are able to rent chairs and umbrellas from this location.   Do you reserve in advance ?    Also,  do you know about the restrooms ?   Are they nearby and possibly handicapped accessible ?  

     

    Also, are there any steps to access to get to the beach from the taxi drop off.

     

    Are there any other places on Eagle Beach that allow reservations like Reflexions Beach Club ?

     

    Also considering Reflexions Beach Club.   My husband and young adult children like to snorkel and I was afraid that Reflexions may not allow that opportunity.  

     

    Your thoughts and wisdom are very much appreciated. 

    Allure Vs. Harmony - Aug 2022 - Huge price difference - support needed

    Hello,

    We are attempting to decide on a balcony stateroom for an August 2022 Sailing on either the Allure or the Harmony. 

     

    My husband and I and our  18 and a 17 year olds.  1 - Cabin -  Balcony -  we have sailed 8 RCI cruises and have been on the Allure in the past as well as the Symphony.  Was scheduled for the Harmony in April 2020.  - Not big water slides - folks.

     

    Harmony - Coco Cay - St Thomas - St Kits

    Allure - Labadee - Aruba - Curacao

     

    The Allure is pricing at 2,500 cheaper than the Harmony.  The Allure is an 8 night Southern and the Harmony is a 7 night Eastern.

     

    Right now the Allure is sailing to Labadee.  Will they replace this island if they are still not sailing to Labadee ?  What would the options be ?

     

    We would really appreciate Thoughts on the Allure ?   Seems like it is too good to pass up for the price. but are not sure if we are missing anything.? 8 nights as well.

     

    We know the ship has not been refurbished since our last sailing ?   is this worth justifying 2,500 more ?

     

    Also, any thoughts on the shows ?

    Hello-- my family and I are interested in going to Hilton Rose Hall at the end of March during our Falmouth day.

     

    Has anyone utilized Patrice's services? She shared she could take us from the port to Rose Hall for $120. Round trip.

     

    Also, do you know if you can buy day passes on that day? Are get ever full?? Can you reserve in advance?

    Rose HILL - Resort 4 a day - Full - Help

    Hello -- We will be in Falmouth on 3/29/15 - Just attempted to book Rose Hill and it is full with Resort 4 a day. Can you still obtain day passes through the hotel ? How can we reserve a safe transport to and from ? Utilize a wheelchair so need to be extra safe.

    So my understanding is that if I put my iPhone on airplane mode next week on the Allure that I will not have any charges. Correct? I can use my camera and video camera freely?

     

    If I then turn on Wi Fi , I then can purchase an email package from RCI. I believe I saw a $20 plan for 60 minutes.

     

    I see that Att has a 30$ passport plan!

     

    Any thoughts appreciated!

The resort is a convenient 30 minute ride from the port of Ocho Rios and a 40 minute ride from the port of Falmouth. The shuttle departs 45 minutes after your cruise ship arrival time and picks you back up 2 hours prior to your cruise ship departure time. For ships arriving before 8:30am, the transfer will depart at 9:15am.
