  1. Too bad you don't have T-Mobile. International texting/data is free and calls are 20 cents per minute. On our trans-Atlantic last year it was awesome when we weren't being charged and other passengers were complaining about their carriers' charges. :)

     

     

    I too have a T-Mobile simple choice plan i use just for international travel and it is great! However, I thought that those great rates didn't apply for Cellular at sea. Do you have to change any settings to avoid the astronomical roaming rates that T-Mobile lists for Cruise Ship Rates?

  2. I would strongly encourage booking a GS or above on the Oasis or Allure! The Gold Sea Pass cards for "suites" along with access to the concierge lounge are well worth the price if you can afford the up charge . In addition to private access to Barefoot Beach in Labadee , you will have priority seating at shows, a private sunbathing area on the ship and many more amenities such . They are the only two ships that having a suite really matters in terms of true perks in addition to the normal room size and upgraded amenities .
