Can you purchase drink packages - If you can do you organise them before you go or onboard. I can't find anything about them on the carnival web site :confused:

The only drink package you can buy is a soda one and you need to buy it onboard.

heard back from TA and they will honour the agreement so am very happy and apart from the initial communication with the first agent when i contacted the manager she sorted it quick smart and was very nice about it all.

We were there is February and May. It was actually worse in May. In Feb they stayed outside the fence. In May they started coming inside the fence touting.

Thanks for the question two fruits. I'm doing the same cruise you are and had the same question. We've only done an 11 night on the Radiance as well. My daughter bought the package and it was excellent. I think she paid $299.

I am loving this thread. We leave on the 28th of May on the CS. I'm going with low expectations so we should have a ball! So long as there is a chair in the adults only area I should be fine!

In Vila, La Tentation has free WiFi for customers. On the waterfront behind the Bred Bank, a few doors down from Fung Kuei :)

If the Philippine band John was talking about was called Music Manila, they are the best band afloat. In our 38 cruises, they are THE best band we have seen on any cruise. We were on the Spirit last year and I just loved this band. I would see as many of their brackets as I could...they thought I was stalking them!!!!

 

We were not fans of the Spirit, but I would easily cruise on her again just to see these guys.

 

I think I have also seen the Neil Diamond tribute show as well...if it was a middle aged guy from Sydney with a slight accent, he was very good as well.

My son was on Spirit in March. I remember him saying Music Manila were leaving. He loved them too.

I have just booked a mid year 2105 cruise with Carnival out of Sydney Aust on Spirit. Not having sailed with them before I want to learn as much as I can. I have cruised RC only once so not a seasoned cruiser. What should I expect??

I'm doing my first Carnival cruise end of May from Sydney. I've only sailed on the Radiance before.
