  1. I placed two orders for upcoming sailings as well. I did not receive the email for either one. I did call back and speak with a supervisor to confirm both of my orders.

He told me there was a glitch in their system and that they were working on it. This was two days ago. He told me he was unsure when it would be fixed. He said to call a couple days prior to departure and if it is fixed they could resend the email confirmation. Otherwise, as long as you have your confirmation number that is all you would need should you encounter issues and need to speak with guest services on the ship. Hope this helps.

  2. You can do whatever you want. There is a parking lot on one side and a garage on the other side of terminal 19. Only one time have we ever run into serious traffic dropping off luggage and it was in November at terminal 25 just before noon. It had to do with a search and rescue team being there because someone didn't get off the ship in the disembarkation group that morning.

Thank you for the reply. We should be there early enough to drop the luggage. I just thought it was absolute chaos from most postings. Since you have provided information, I feel more confident of what to expect. Thanks again.

  3. Drivers can use any of the entrances.

    Drop off the luggage first.

Park in the closest garage or parking lot. If you are unsure, ask one of the cops directing traffic. Walk to ship with your carry-ons.

Do you think we can park and then take the luggage? I hear the garage is pretty close to the actual terminal. We are cruising on Carnival freedom which I believe will use terminal 19. Just trying to avoid the traffic chaos many have mentioned.

    Thanks for the information.

  4. A cruise wedding is not for the planner who likes to take care of the planning yourself.

Your venue is dependant on how many guest and how many weddings

Carnival only will book 3 weddings per sailing

Guests even if not sailing will need birth certificates and photo I'd.

Wedding guests can board first they can tour the ship while waiting for the ceremony

They will be escorted off about an hour before sailing

Guests not sailing do not require a birth certificate to board and attend your wedding on board. I was married on a Carnival ship mid-2012. All that is required is their pertinent information on your final guest list that you will receive to complete prior to your sailing date. You do have a wedding contact assigned to you prior to cruising and a coordinator once you reach the port to assist you throughout the day. There are many options/additions you can choose from. My experience was a breeze and I outlined all of the specifics that I planned and it was followed through specifically to perfection by my Carnival coordinator and everyone that assisted through Carnival.

  5. Sorry for the delay ..just got back tonight from the cruise

They start at 5am but they do run on the hour ...$5 pp

It was a nice size large van to the port

Just book the night before to make sure you have a spot on the shuttle

Check out time is 11 am but found out you could ask for a later time

    The breakfast was good ($10)

We did not have a car so just ate in the hotel for dinner which was not bad at all

If you need to get supplies or are staying more than 1 night I would stay elsewhere

It worked for us as we arrived late afternoon for 1 night

Thanks for the information. We will look for somewhere a little closer to stores.

  6. Sorry, but I can't remember. I suspect if you called the hotel they could tell you. Most of the time I don't pay attention to what it costs because I refuse to take shuttles.:)

Thank you. I avoid the shuttles as well. Thanks!

  7. We are here now

The shuttle to the port runs on the hour & is $5 pp

They do have a few things in the cooler if you do not want the buffet for $9.95

Yogurt parfait, fruit cup, some rolls ..maybe cookies will have another look n the way out

Dinner was good nothing outstanding but if you do not have a car you will not starve

What time do the shuttles start running? Thanks for your help.

  8. Stayed there once, and it is a nice clean hotel. We took a taxi from the airport to the hotel and a taxi from the hotel to the ship. That is only because I don't like shuttles, so I don't take them.:)

Do you remember the price of the taxi from the hotel to the port? We are considering booking this park and cruise hotel as well. Thanks!
