  1. I have noticed MSC has made changes already to different packages on their website. (ie Trio Dinner and Internet). My question is, if I purchased the Dinner Trio (Which includes Ocean Cay, Butchers Cut and the Asian Market) When I booked it, it included the teppanyaki tables, now it shows that it doesnt. Does anyone know if they are still honoring the original booking which included the teppanyaki tables?

Also, I have also noticed the internet packages have changed, theyve actually gotten better, but I read somewhere that the old packages that were prebooked wont work when you try to logon and have to go to the internet desk while on the ship to change it. Has anyone experienced this or has any knowledge on this? I tried to remove the internet package but it wont let me. After 3 phone calls and having it expedited to the accounting department to have them remove them, its still not done, so a month later and still trying to correct before getting on the ship instead of waiting in line at the internet desk.

They will honor original booking. I had pre purchased streamer plus package. When I went to internet desk, the staff assisted me to get 6G (or 7G?! can't remember) package. I sometimes let my kids watched youtube onboard as I had 6G data!

  2. Hi, I was on MSC Seaside from Mar 17 -24. My family like it very much. I think I can add few extra comments:

    1. Smell – the only place I noticed there was smell problem is in lady washroom near Seashore restaurant (deck 5). Smell was very consistent in this lady washroom. I started taking my girl to other washroom on deck 6 and washroom on deck 6 was totally fine.

    2. Cabin – We had suite with whirlpool tub. The room was beautiful and I could enjoy whirlpool bath when my kids wanted to stay in cabin. I read Jim’s review and worried about shower water gets flung everywhere within the bathroom. In fact, our family did not make a mess in the bathroom. I and my husband did not hold showerhead in hand and keep showerhead on wall. No water has splashed to bathroom floor.

    3. Dining – We had anytime dining option so very flexible. Please be patient if you go there during peak hour (like 7:30pm-8:15pm) and you may need to wait to be seated.

    4. Theater – I missed theater in Divina which was more gorgeous and elegant. I can’t compare to other cruise line as I haven’t tried other cruise line yet.

    5. Cruise critic party: I did attend the party but I did not receive any photo! :<

    6. Crowded – I never felt crowded although the ship was fully booked. Our family arrived at around noon. Check in was easy and fast. When we got onboard, we went to buffet at deck 8 and no problem to find a table. We stayed there from 12:30pm-2pm and table always available nearby. I could not believe that as I remembered when I was on Divina, we needed to wait for table in buffet during rush hour. I always found a table in buffet area on Seaside.

I don’t know how difficult to find beach chairs near pool. But if you just need a beach chair to relax, you should find one. I noted that one side of deck 19 was not exclusive area and I always saw beach chair available there. Also deck 8 has many beach chairs and I never saw them full when I enjoyed my whirlpool on my balcony.

    7. Coffee – coffee at Venchi Cioccogelateria and coffee bar (desk 6) was amazing. This was our family favorite place. I had my espresso and my kids had gelato.

  3. You need to think positive. If you too focus on negative review, you will create checklist in your mind and for sure you will not enjoy your trip. I had vacation with my relative few months ago on Divina. She read so many bad reviews and she would say "that was what I saw in the forum and they were correct" for very minor thing. It seemed like she was a detective onboard in order to prove all negative threads were correct.

  4. Before I went on my first NCL cruise I read a lot of good and very good reviews about NCL on this board:confused: . I had absolutely different opinion about this line . Not even a free cruise will make me go on other NCL cruise again. I strongly believe that only when you try something by yourself you can decide if you like it or not.

I totally agree. I liked shows in Divina while my cousin hated them all!:')

  5. I traveled with my cousin's family in August 2017. She had cruised Carnival many times and she really hated Divina. She said when she was on Carnival on first day, she could hear lot of music on deck to make her feel this is a party and have fun. She said Divina was too quiet. Then I started hearing her comments on Divina everyday such as limited choices in buffet, fixed time dining, shows were boring as performers just flying around, travelers were rude, waiters not helpful, don't allow bringing soda/ bottle water onboard and even she thought gelato tasted not good and normal ice cream was much better than that.

I asked her to try MSC Seaside and she said unless she really hated that person, otherwise she would not suggest. She urged me trying other cruse lines. I only took two MSC Divina before so I had no comparison. However, I really enjoy Divina. My kids went to kids club while I had massage (not that time with my cousin as her girl told my kids kids clubs were super boring so my kids only stayed there for 10 mins on 1st day).

  6. Hi, I show desk plan to my kids and they pick the cabin they like. This cabin is available on MSC official website but can't find this cabin in other travel website. I also contact my travel agent and that cabin is not in her system. Does anyone know whether MSC would release more cabin to travel agents in future? When?

Thanks so much for your help.

  7. Divina pre cruise package price is $ 199 for 100 pictures? Is it still worth it? Does MSC offer any discount for gold member? We have three staterooms so can our family take picture together in this package?

    Thanks
