I don't recall seeing any rental car companies on the port itself, however if you have a rental car reservation, most companies will send a shuttle to the port to pick you up and take you to the actual rental car lot. I did that once with Hertz and it worked out well.

I was on the 12/13/13 sailing and there were no bedbugs in my room.

A good friend of mine takes his electric guitar and a small amp with him when he cruises, and then plugs in his headphones into the amp so that he doesn't disturb anyone while he's playing on the balcony. It seems to work out great for him.

I'm enjoying your review! Did you get a chance to use the ship's wifi at all, and if so, how much did it cost?

When I was on Allure back in May, they gave me a note that stated when to be at the departure lounge. Given that I didn't have any plane to catch or anything, the time I was given was 10am to be in the lounge for a 10:30am departure. Things were extremely delayed though and I didn't get off the ship until around 11:30am and didn't leave the port itself until around noon.
The process itself was very easy and straightforward. RCL really has this down to a science, and the reason for the delay was lack of customs agents.

Yes the man thought he was just calling to tell us to enjoy our cruise. I called C and A to confirm!!!
That's pretty awesome! Enjoy your upgraded room! :)

how do you know what terminal your ship will go to? I am on Nov 14th Liberty sailing...only cruise ship in port...wonder if we will get the wonderful 18 or not
Check your cruise documents. They mention which terminal to go to under the Port Directions section.

Was the upgrade automatic?

I've had the brownies that are delivered to the room and I enjoyed them so much, that I ordered them again for my next cruise. Just be aware that you will receive a large box with I think 6-8 large brownies inside.

Here's my experience. I was on the Allure sailing back in May, and I was on the last group to leave the ship. My group didn't get off the ship until around 11:30, which probably means that no one was allowed to board until we were finally out.
Having said that, the terminal that RCI has at that port is very good, with free WiFi, and a nice waiting room segregated by suite and Crown and Anchor status. So even if you arrive early, and it takes a long time to get everyone off the previous sailing, you will probably be comfortable.
Atlanta Airport/38 minutes - help
in Cruise Air
Posted
From my experience, I wouldn't do it. Atlanta is a very large airport, and I was actually there one time when their shuttle that goes to the different terminals was broken down and I had to go from one terminal to another on foot. You should instead look for a longer layover, especially if missing the connection would mean that you miss your cruise.
