  1. From my experience, I wouldn't do it. Atlanta is a very large airport, and I was actually there one time when their shuttle that goes to the different terminals was broken down and I had to go from one terminal to another on foot. You should instead look for a longer layover, especially if missing the connection would mean that you miss your cruise.

  2. When I was on Allure back in May, they gave me a note that stated when to be at the departure lounge. Given that I didn't have any plane to catch or anything, the time I was given was 10am to be in the lounge for a 10:30am departure. Things were extremely delayed though and I didn't get off the ship until around 11:30am and didn't leave the port itself until around noon.

The process itself was very easy and straightforward. RCL really has this down to a science, and the reason for the delay was lack of customs agents.

  3. Here's my experience. I was on the Allure sailing back in May, and I was on the last group to leave the ship. My group didn't get off the ship until around 11:30, which probably means that no one was allowed to board until we were finally out.

Having said that, the terminal that RCI has at that port is very good, with free WiFi, and a nice waiting room segregated by suite and Crown and Anchor status. So even if you arrive early, and it takes a long time to get everyone off the previous sailing, you will probably be comfortable.
