I booked one room in my name and one room in my husbands name in order to get the best deals. When we get on the ship my husband and myself will be in one room and my daughter and my mother in law in the other room.
My question is will guest services give us additional keys to the rooms or how do we handle this. We will all be on one credit card for the sign and sale account so that part doesn't matter.
Thanks for your help on this

We have a cruise planned on Carnival Liberty and I was wondering if we sail at 3:30 what time does all the shops and casino open after sailing. Also we are overnight in Nassau and I was wondering what time everything will open up that night.
Thanks in advance for your help

So silly question do you need to bring marriage license because my birth certificate has my maiden name.

Sersee - Head over to Ron Jon Surf Shop and walk around. It is a cool place to visit with nice clothes and beachy things. Then you can walk out on the pier. That would kill some time and it is very easy to get to - I am assuming you have a car rental.

I called Carnival today and they said to book with PVP and ask them to apply the cruise credit at the time of booking. They said to keep the booking number from this cruise we were just on.
I am looking at cruises too!

KSFLANN you are on the same sailing we are!:) It's our family birthday cruise..DS turns 14 in Coz...it's his first time there. Hubby and I have been there many times. Hubby I sailed the Paradise for the first time this year and I loved the ship. I believe if I'm not mistaken it's in the same class as the Fascination which I did not care for..if anyone has questions about the Paradise that I can answer then let me know, I will be glad to help!:D
Elainmir, this is our second time on Paradise. We had a good time the first time also. This time I am looking forward to the casino specials as we are doing a select casino offer. After all the Holiday Hoopla it will be nice to have a vacation planned! See you on board!

I was on the Sensation in Port Canaveral probably 10 years ago. I went to Bealls and purchased a rolling cooler bag for our sodas. I checked it with a 12 pack of soda. some water, and other items but it was pretty heavy. So we get on the ship have lunch, roam around and then head to our cabin about 230 and the phone is ringing. I was told to go to deck three and meet security. I have no idea why. I went alone I don't remember what my husband was doing at the time but he didn't know about it. So I get to deck three and they say come with me and not very nice. We get off the ship and go to the luggage screening area. It was a long walk. They say to me that I can't bring the cooler on board. Too big. I can however empty the contents and carry them back. Well they were nice enough to give me one white trash bag. I load everything into the trash bag and basically kissed my new bag goodbye since I didn't have a car at the port to put it into and they do not hold items. So now I am carrying about 40 pounds of stuff (OK maybe wasn't 40 but I know it was a lot) back to the ship and get back on and then back to the room.
The trash bag has almost stretched to the breaking point by this time and I am so glad to have made it back to the room. I find my husband in the room and tell him my story and he thinks it is funny. I have not lived it down to this day.
Oh, but something even funnier is the couple that we travel with had a hard time getting through security because the guy had put a butter packet in his shirt pocket at breakfast and the metal in the wrapper kept setting off the alarms. When they finally found it, the butter was all melted and had stained his shirt. We HAD to buy that embarkment picture because you can see the stain on his shirt.
So to the OP point about security, I do believe they check things pretty closely.

Does anyone have any experience with a Carnival Select Offer? I know it is the lowest casino offer but what can I expect? I am getting a little cash and there is a welcome aboard party and drinks on us card. Will my DH get the card too?
Thanks in advance.

I always have enjoyed reading your cruise reviews. It is so great that you have so many memories of great times with your dad. I have also lost my dad (and mom) in 2007. It still hurts and I miss them everyday. It gets easier in time. Hang in there and know that you have many friends willing to listen (read) and offer encouragement.

How long does it take to fuel Carnival Liberty in Port Canaveral
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
I know this sounds like a silly question but there will be no smoking at all anywhere until the refueling is completed. My DH is a smoker and this is going to drive him crazy. We are going to get on the ship as late as possible which will be 1 or 130 and if we keep busy with lunch and the muster drill but after that I know he will be itching for that smoke.
Does anyone know how long it takes?
Thanks,
Karen
