On Silhoutte last Sept 2022  we were able to see the Northern

Lights after leaving Akureyri.  They made announcement so that

passengers could go out on the decks to see them. That was one of the highlights of our cruise.

We just got off the Summit on May 15th and we were very disappointed that it was not offered on our cruise.

Our cruise last Sept on the Silhouette did cross into the Arctic Circle with our stop in Akureyri.

We also were able to see the Northern Lights.

We just did Iceland last September on the Silhoutte.  In Reykjavik

we did a 8 hour Golden Circle Tour with Iceland Everywhere Tours.

I would highly recommend.

My power up points from the January activities were posted to my account this morning.

I am so excited, as I never received my 5 points in November for booking a cruise, these 5 points will  take me to Elite status.

We have been to Turkey and it is beautiful,  if anyone may be considering traveling there.

Bermuda website specifies negative PCR to be downloaded on travel authorization

You ask what will be difficult is time frame of the requirements

May 4th and May13th Cruise I believe our tender port of Newport, RI will be too early for the PCR test.

Charleston, SC may be doable, but can Charleston handle all the passengers that will need to be tested. Even scheduling in advance 

won’t guarantee that your appt won’t be cancelled.

The problem is that the May 4th and May 13th cruises don’t arrive to Bermuda until day 7.

PCR test must be no more than 4 days before arrival.

Cruise ship travel authorization must be submitted 3 days before arrival.

These requirements are going to be difficult to complete while at sea.

Will Celebrity offer on board testing and free internet to enable the

passengers to meet these requirements?

Our last cruise on the Summit was in a FV. I loved it and wouldn’t hesitate to book one again.

Your friends will have to decide what is more important to them.

The FV’s as of now are still considered Verandas and you only going to received 3 Captain Club points per night and of course they don’t come with any of the

suite benefits.

As of now Bermuda also requires you to submit 1 to 3 days before arrival a travel authorization request

 along with needing a negative PCR

We cancelled our May 13th cruise on the Summit as we weren’t scheduled to arrive in Bermuda until day 6 and weren’t sure how we would be able

to the meet the necessary requirements.  I didn’t want

to pay for Bermuda and end up in the Bahamas

I have received the 2 points for the 12/29 survey

The 2 gift power points was a January activity to be completed by January 9th

I don’ expect to see those points til February.

I am waiting for the 2 points from the December 29th

power point activity. That activity was open til January 4th. 
So many those points won’t post til February?
