  1. Not sure it is going in order. I'm booked on the transatlantic in a studio deck 4 and nothing has changed yet for me, but someone posted earlier this morning that they have already been moved to another cabin on the same cruise.

    That would be me, and i only booked at the beginning of the month!

  2. The nursery takes babies from 6 months up. They are all youth staff and have additional nursery training. I think it's around $8 per hour. Depending on how many babies onboard they might limit the hours you can pre-book (15-20). However, it used to be that on the day of, it is first come, first served with remainding hours.

    Not sure on opening hours, but i think they close at midnight.

    With in room babysitters it will not be the youth staff doing it, but housekeeping, bar staff or dining staff. There will be two people, even if it is only one child.

  3. Its so confusing all the different information out there regarding Adventure Ocean. This is what I just read on Cruise Critic: https://www.cruisecritic.com/reviews/review.cfm?ShipID=368&pgtype=family

    p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 26.0px 'Helvetica Neue'}

    "Adventure Ocean opens at 6:30 a.m. and runs through 10 p.m. Kids are brought to lunch at the Wipe Out Cafe between noon and 1 p.m. and to dinner at the Windjammer buffet between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. There is no cost."

    It might have changed since i worked there, but those opening hours looks like a port day. On seadays it was 9am open. But check once you get onboard

  4. Aug 31 perhaps? Your best choice is a car service like Dial7 or Carmellimo. Public transit is an option if you can manage your luggage, but it will be more time consuming - taxi to PATH, PATH to light rail, light rail to Bayonne, and cab/Uber into the port or taxi to PATH, PATH to Newport station, and Uber to the port. Post back if you want details. PATH and light rail would be empty on a Thur morning.

    Hi,

    You are right, it's aug 31st[emoji85] would love the details, just so i know the options. With my sence of direction( or rather lack of it) i might just go for the easiest option, but who knows.... i might feel adventurous

  5. Hello[emoji16] i'm sailing on the Anthem aug 30, and will be flying in a few days before to do some shopping in NYC. I'll be staying close to times square. What would be your recomendations on getting to the port? I think RC had a shuttle, but it looks like it won't be at the port until 1pm......

    Thanks for your help[emoji3]

  6. We did the Allure 4 years ago for my grandparents 50th anniversert/ my 30th birthday and it was a great hit! We were 7 age 21-80. We always did seaday lunches, dinner and shows together. Due to my grans mobility issues we borrowed a wheelchair, but She mostly used it off the ship .

    Oasis class has something for everyone[emoji16]

  7. I've done a T/A on the Allure both as a guest and crew and i loved it. Another thing you might want to take into consideration is that on a smaller ship, you feel the motion of the ocean more than on big ships. My last T/A on the AL we had rough seas for the first 4-5 days once we entered the open ocean, with waves to deck 5.
